Welcome back to CYS sports for the 2026-2027 school year.

Grade School Basketball continues week 2 with games at Ascension this Saturday

1-4^th grades and Our Saviour Friday for 5^th grade. All schedules are found on your Play Metric accounts.

Middle School Boys Soccer (1-1) plays Thursday 9/17 at St. Mary and 9/24 at MCC after getting their first win 7-4 over Ascension last week.

Middle School Girls Soccer (1-3) won first game of their season over Ascension 4-1 this past week.

Coaching Information

Lancer families, any coaches 18 or older interested in coaching the upcoming school year please reach out to me at fairbankm@ollmelbourne.org

All coaches must each school year take the FREE online courses from the CYS www.bluesombrero.com site prior to being a team coach. The free classes and certificates are found under the coaching resource center tab. 

STEPS to BE A COACH

1. Reach out and let me know of your interest
2. Your name will be added to the fingerprint program, and you will be notified when you are eligible to get printed
3. Take the Free coaching classes (link above) and print out each certificate and return to school office
4. Once cleared and all classes are certified you will be eligible to coach
5. Let me know days of week and time for practices usually ( 1-2 per week 3:30-4:30) after school on campus. Some Middle school teams could practice at MCC high school TBD.
6. Game schedule is set thru CYS with games schedule TBD. Times and sites for K-5 sports are Saturday games 9:00-2:00 and 6-8^th sports weekdays and some possible Saturdays 4:30-5:30 start times.
7. Uniforms for K-5 are ordered as needed thru the CYS registration process and 6-8^th uniforms are provided by the school.

All Volunteer Coaches must complete 4 free online NFHS courses.

These courses are required every school year. These coach courses are important for your school when the school is audited.
