ArtPOP 2017
Deadline: August 11

For Arts Month this October, the Cultural Office and the Pikes Peak Arts Council are partnering for a brand new initiative: ArtPOP 2017!  ArtPOP will be a series of 20 artist-driven pop-up performances and exhibitions in diverse locations across our region. Specialty performances will surprise citizens where they are, bringing art to everyday life and showcasing the talent of Pikes Peak artists. You are invited to enhance Arts Month by showcasing an impactful arts experience of any discipline!

The Art-o-mat is Coming!
Deadline: Ongoing

The Cultural Office is bringing the Art-o-mat® machine pictured here, titled "Carnival", to the Pikes Peak region! Art-o-mat® machines are retired cigarette vending machines that have been converted to vend small works of handmade art for $5. Over 100 machines have been hosted across the nation for 20 years. Art-o-mat®  builds public interest in the arts, provides local artists with a new outlet for creativity, and connects our community to a national network of fun! "Carnival" will be hosted at popular destinations for both locals and tourists, and move about every 6 months.

We encourage local artists to apply to join the 300 contributing artists from 10 different countries currently involved in the Art-o-mat® project so that your work can be sold in here in our machine and across the United States!
