100 Days and a Refocus

Hello Linda,

In its first incarnation, Last Chance Patriots was a local chapter of ACT for America, a nationwide organization founded by Brigitte Gabriel, well-known for its efforts to educate the American public about the dangers of Islam and the large numbers of Muslims that were and still are immigrating to the US. 

We broke away from ACT because we wanted to explore a broader range of topics and bring attention to significant problems in our home state of Montana. ACT remains a thriving and active organization that has broadened its scope in the last few years, and Last Chance Patriots has also enjoyed success.

There have been so many important issues on both the state and national levels in the past five years that LCP’s attention was diverted away from the problem of Muslim immigration. Beginning with this issue of our newsletter, we will make an effort to refocus some of our energies on exposing what has been happening in the US while we were not paying attention. 

The thing that pulled our attention back to Islam and the threat of Shariah within the US is the publicity about a new Muslim “community” being developed near Plano, Texas. Please read the article about EPIC City elsewhere in this newsletter.

This issue includes an update on the Water Court proceedings and an update on MTCAG (Montana Citizens Action Group) activities, which are of more local interest. Looking forward, we will continue to try to provide you with information that you might not see in the MSM, both of local and national interest, and some global concerns that cross our radar. 

As we look back upon the first one hundred days of the second Trump administration, most of our readers would agree that several important issues are less worrisome today than in January, and others continue to be problematic. But it has only been one hundred days! 

The dramatic reduction of illegal immigrants crossing the border is astounding! Imagine what the number of deportations could be if the administration were not fighting a full-on assault from the courts. Nevertheless, a good start has been made. We need to be patient because we will not begin to see the accurate measure of the turnaround that needs to happen until 12-18 months after 1/20/2025.

Be patient, stay alert, communicate with your Congresspeople and Senators about what’s good and what isn’t, and make the most of this Last Chance!

Trump fires his neocon national security adviser, who should have never been hired to begin with; his replacement will speak volumes about Trump's focus going forward ... Could this be the beginning of a neocon purge? If so, there are plenty more of these war-mongering types in Trump's inner circle who need to go.

Fox News has confirmed that President Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and other staffers have been removed from the National Security Council.

Waltz and his deputy, Alex Wong, were reportedly fired today and are gone.

Waltz, who previously served as a Florida congressman and as a combat-experienced Green Beret, has been in the hot seat since March, when Atlantic magazine's liberal Trump-hating editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg published a firsthand account of getting added to a Signal group chat with top national security leaders, including Waltz, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

Goldberg is a guy that any true conservative would have nothing to do with, yet Waltz had him on speed dial as a contact on his phone.

The Real Threat from Iran ... isn’t in Iran

There is much chatter about Iran’s looming nuclear capability and the threat of that country having the potential to build nuclear weapons. We have that so-called master of “Hope and Change”, Barack Hussein Obama, to thank for that. Granted, Iran and nukes is a terrifying thought, but I think there is a more likely scenario that could play out well before Iran would be able to launch a nuclear weapon against Israel or the U.S successfully.

First, we must recognize that Muslims play the long game. For centuries, they have been quite open about their hostility toward anyone or any culture that is not Muslim and about their goals to either subsume those cultures or to overcome them. Their belief in their superiority and their commitment to the teachings of Islam have bred in them a long-simmering hatred that they have now successfully spread through immigration, legal or otherwise, into Western civilization. This has led to their very successful infiltration into the governments of some countries, most notably the United States and Great Britain.

I believe that, like a pot simmering on the stove, there are a significant number of Muslims around the world who are collectively simmering and waiting patiently for a sign that tells them it is time to rise up. Imagine if the 40,000+ Muslims who live in the city of London decided that Allah wanted them to bring London to its knees. 

Imagine if, simultaneously, the areas of the U.S. that have large populations of Muslims (New York City, approximately. 760K or 9% of the population, and the NY metro area has 1.5 million Muslims, the highest in the western hemisphere; Dearborn, Michigan – 50% of the city’s 100K population; Hamtramck, Michigan – 50% of the approximately. 22K population, to name a few, decided to rise up against their adopted country. 

The sheer number of people who could potentially be empowered to wreak havoc and disaster by a signal from Iran is genuinely frightening. I do not believe that the U.S., Great Britain, France, Germany, and other countries are in any way prepared to deal with uprisings that could spring up suddenly.

What could bring about such uprisings? I posit that any overt action taken by Iran against Israel or the U.S. would represent a call to action for the millions of Muslims who have immigrated to non-Muslim countries across the globe. Why totally destroy the countries when they could be overtaken in a manner leaving the land and structures intact and livable? 

It is the people they want to conquer and then convert or kill. “Death to America” does not mean destruction of the valuable resources of America; it means death to the people and the concept of America. Imagine the chaos here in the U.S. if it were to happen here: 

1. The number of rioters would swell instantly as other people sought to join the crowd.
2. Depending on the city or region, law enforcement could easily be overwhelmed.
3. The fear factor would cause people to react by meeting violence with more violence.
4. Martial law would likely be declared to regain control, and, frankly, I don’t want to imagine anymore. Rest assured, the U.S. would never be the same.

Call me an Islamophobe or a racist or anti-Muslim, but I think when someone says they want to kill you, you should believe them. We need to look inside our borders for the greatest threat. Those people whom I mentioned above as joining up with rioters could be illegal immigrants who see a way to take power away from a government that is trying to deport them, they could be malcontent American citizens who likewise want to take power away from those they consider to be their oppressors, they could simply be people for whom violence is a drug and they want it. Still, any way you look, the number of rioters would increase quickly and dramatically.

So when you hear discussions of Iran and nukes, look beyond the talk and the “negotiations” and think about the fundamental goals of Islam and its followers. “Death to America” is a rallying cry, and we must not forget that.

What's Wrong With Europe?

Having just returned from the UK, I learned much. I have spoken to academics, former members of Parliament, and former government officials on opposite sides of the political fence.

There is much that is wrong with Europe. They seem to be dancing with the Devil in a sort of suicide two-step. They make mistake after mistake. They are on a train to a destination no one voted for. No wonder there is a question as to who is in charge. I believe I can provide some insight.

Europe made the mistake of the millennium. They invited and let in millions of poor Muslim migrants with a culture totally incompatible with Western civilization. They have their own law and courts. There are areas of Europe where police don’t even tread. Gangs of Muslim men roam British streets raping young girls. Call it anything you want, but those are facts. Like John Adams said, “Facts are stubborn things.”

European leaders like Angela Merkel said to the world, “Wir schaffen das” (We can do this).

Many people would say the migrant surge is because of war or poor economic conditions in their home countries. And that would be only partly true. But, like what happened in the United States, the flood of immigration on both continents had a purpose.

That purpose was to destroy Western civilization and to dilute the populations with people who had no culture of freedom.

The Water Court Follies

The month of April was filled with Water Court action, to the point of personal exhaustion of this writer. It began with the Court on April 1st finally issuing its Order On Pending Motions Regarding Compact Approval. I say “finally” because the motions the judge responded to had been filed as long ago as July 2024, and evidentiary hearings were scheduled to begin in April 2025. 

Not having the Court’s opinions available until April 1st put all objectors at a significant disadvantage. That document provided a clear roadmap of the judge's thought process as he considers whether the Compact is all it's cracked up to be or whether it is unfair and a product of fraud, collusion, or overreach.

I won’t bore you with all of the details of the month but suffice to say that for me it included two fruitless trips to Missoula, the writing of multiple documents to be submitted to the Court and Compact Parties, multiple Zoom conferences and some trickery by the Compact Parties that caused me to withdraw from the evidentiary hearing that had been scheduled for me. Other Pro Se objectors had at least as much on their plates, and they participated in the evidentiary hearings, which I did not. So when I said last month that this process has been tiresome, frustrating, and soul-sucking, I can now add that it is infuriating and sad.

It's still not over, but the Court’s decision is blatantly obvious and predictable: the Court will rule that the Compact is fair. I do not doubt that the decision will be appealed (actually, it will be appealed no matter which decision is made), so even then it won’t be over. However, if you live in the Flathead or Mission Valleys, you will see and feel more of the impact of implementing the Compact as the months go by.

Montana Citizens Action Group

MTCAG is working to put together a persuasive presentation for DOGE. I must be honest and admit that, for me, this effort had to take a backseat to another big issue (see THE WATER COURT FOLLIES elsewhere in this issue). We will be back to working hard on compiling the data for DOGE in May and June. Our biggest challenge is finding a pathway into DOGE. We will try to contact Troy Downing get his support and assistance.

Last month, I promised you more data demonstrating our concerns about the grant money awarded to CSKT. 

Here is one example:

Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program: $41,572,832 awarded

Purpose: to install fiber and wireless to unserved tribal households and businesses

• 927 unserved tribal households
• 35 unserved tribal businesses
• 22 unserved tribal community anchor institutions (have no idea what that is)
• 984 installs total

I compared that to what it would cost to provide Starlink for those 984 unserved tribal households and businesses:

• $500 upfront for equipment for each site = $492,000
• $120/month service charge for each site = $1,416,960 for the first year
• $1,908,960 for the first year

Should DOGE take a look at this? What are they going to do that will cost over $41 million? 

That is just one of 93 grants the CSKT has open now.

How Could Anyone Vote Democrat?

I am amazed that the Democrats in Congress and the propaganda machine that is the mainstream media cannot figure out why they lost the 2024 election. The reasons they come up with are baffling. Can they be as stupid as they act? As I was listening to Chuck Schumer, it hit me, how could anyone vote for a Democrat today?

I mean, these are the people who think it's okay for men to use women’s restrooms, men can compete in women’s sports, and this week they’re all flocking to El Salvador to return a gang member, wife-beater, and illegal immigrant. To top that, a judge had just resigned after hiding an illegal gang member. What could possibly inspire someone to vote for these yahoos?

In my book, Death Rattle of the Republic, I chronicle some of the worst history I could imagine. In researching for the book, I discovered blatant examples of Democratic Presidents and their deceit to send our young off to war. It was hard to take, and it is hard to read and accept, but here are a couple of facts.

In the run-up to World War I, Democrat Woodrow Wilson ran on a platform that did not support the war in Europe. He even made campaign promises. All the while, he had a plan and talked with European leaders about getting us into the war after winning the election. As President, he kept his behind-the-scenes promises. 

After the ugly trench warfare of World War I, the American people were not up for round two when Germany and England began going at it. Enter Democrat Franklin Delano Roosevelt, FDR. Like Wilson, FDR ran on a platform of 'I won't send our boys off to war.' Like Wilson, he had behind-the-scenes agreements with Churchill, similar to when Democratic President Obama whispered to Putin, 'I'll have more flexibility after the election.'

And what did the man who introduced socialism to America do about the war? He used the sinking of the Lusitania, a passenger ship with millions of rounds of ammunition headed for England, as the false flag to bring us into the war. And when his buddy, Joseph Stalin, wanted Japan taken care of, what did Democrat FDR do? He set up Pearl Harbor as a false flag to expand the war and silence Japan. It is an ugly truth, but a truth nonetheless.

Democrat Harry Truman, immediately following the War to End All Wars, World War II, sent our young men into the debacle we know as the Korean War. It was a war we never intended to win, and we fought the enemy of Russia and China, both regimes that were brought to power under FDR.

A decade after the end of the Korean debacle, Republican Dwight Eisenhower sent our first advisors to Vietnam. Following him, Democrat John F. Kennedy was poised to do the right thing and bring the small contingent of troops home from Vietnam. As we all know, that, and his desire to bust the CIA into a million pieces and end the Federal Reserve, got him assassinated on the day of infamy in Dallas.

Many have known for years, but much of it has just been officially revealed by the Trump Administration; our own CIA participated in JFK's assassination, and the facts support the involvement of his successor, Democrat Lyndon Baines Johnson. This Vice Presidential pick was forced on him by the establishment. 

What was the first thing LBJ did about Vietnam? Increased our involvement in what would become a ten-year quagmire of death and destruction. How did he get us into the war? With what we know now as another false flag, the Gulf of Tonkin incident.  The evidence would suggest Democrats love to send our young off to war. Democrat Jimmy Carter was an exception but gave away America's most strategic geographic asset, the Panama Canal, for a dollar.

But hey, maybe our populace doesn't follow world history like I do. What does electing a Democrat mean in America? It's okay to make mistakes, but we should learn from them and adjust our actions in the future. But Democrats don't do that. Let's look at how our cities turn out when run by Democrats.

Memphis, TN

Memphis, Tennessee, has had Democratic mayors since 1982; that's 43 years. Memphis is number one in the United States for violent crime, per the FBI, with just under 250 murders per year. The poverty level is 28%, and it is the 3rd-worst city in America financially. 

Detroit, MI

Detroit has had Democratic mayors since 1962, which is 63 years. Detroit is number two in the United States for violent crime. The most recent data, 2022, shows 330 murders and 11,565 assaults. The poverty level is 38%, and unemployment is 9%. Detroit is the number one worst-off city in America financially. In December 2014, the city filed the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history.

St. Louis, MO

St. Louis, Missouri, has had Democratic mayors since 1949; that's 76 years. They rank number three in violent crime with 264 murders. The poverty rate is 22%, and the city ranks as the 5th worst financially in America. 

Baltimore, MD

Baltimore has had Democratic mayors since 1967; that's 58 years. Baltimore ranks 4th in violent crime, with 342 murders in a year. They rank highest in the nation in robberies. The poverty rate is 22%, and the city ranks 4th worst financially in the county.

Cleveland, OH

Cleveland has had Democratic mayors since 1989; that's 36 years. They rank 5th in violent crime. The poverty rate is 32%, and the city ranks as the 2nd worst financially in America. 

These cities represent America's top five worst cities, and all have been under Democratic leadership for 36 to 76 years. The next five worst have similar results.

Little Rock, Arkansas, is number 6 and has been under Democratic leadership for 38 years. Violent crime is 400% greater than the national average, and poverty is 17%.

Kansas City, Missouri, is next, with Democratic mayors since 1991, that's 34 years. They are plagued with high murder rates and a poverty rate of 15%. 

Next up is Birmingham, Alabama, which has had Democratic mayors since 1979, that's 46 years. They are plagued with high assault, robbery, and drug trafficking. The city has a poverty rate of 26%, and it ranks as the 8th worst financially. New Orleans, Louisiana, has had Democratic mayors for 1936 89 years. New Orleans has the highest county-level murder rate in the nation. The poverty rate is 23%, and the city ranks as the 7th worst financially in the country. 

Chicago, Illinois, has had Democratic mayors since 1931; that's 94 years. The poverty rate is 17%, and the city is the sixth worst off financially. The murder rate peaked in 2017 at 653. We could go on and on. Los Angeles, California, has had Democratic mayors since 1961; that's 56 years. The city is broke and a wreck, as is San Francisco, which has had Democratic mayors for 56 years.

What am I missing? With this track record, it's like getting in a clothes dryer and wondering why you're hot and flipping upside down all the time. Do people not think?

And God forbid I include data on the schools in these cities. They are deplorable. And yet, year after year, people don't vote for change or march in the streets against the hideous conditions they live in.

The gene pool is not getting better with time. And I ask … why would anyone vote Democrat?
