Another Critical Election

Hello Linda,

…and they’re off! The trials and tribulations of this election year will get underway in earnest with the Iowa Caucus on January 15th. We will then be inundated with ads, in-fighting, more ads, requests for money, more ads, more in-fighting and more requests for money, until we’re begging for mercy!

If I didn’t think that this presidential election was critical to the survival of our nation, I would be tempted to drop out for ten months. Unfortunately, I believe that the U.S. is on a knife’s edge and continuation of “swamp rule” is an existential threat to our Republic. Dems, globalists and progressives are fond of dropping the “existential threat” mantra at the drop of a hat but, in my opinion, the real threat is our own government and the entrenched power mongers at every level.

Over the next several months Last Chance Patriot will focus almost exclusively on the coming elections because we would like to help you make wise decisions as you head to the ballot box. We hope to provide you with information about candidates on both the national and state levels that you will need.

To that end, we won’t repeat the candidates’ talking points but we will report on their ACTIONS. For incumbent candidates we can give you a report of their records on key issues. For new candidates, we will work hard to find out facts about them, their work history, who their cronies are, and things that might help us to anticipate how they might behave in Helena or D.C. It won’t be easy, but it’s a job worth doing because this just might be our LAST CHANCE!

We need your help in order to provide the information that you need and want. We have included a survey in this newsletter, asking you to help us understand how we can be most helpful to you.  If you want to be more descriptive, please send an email to linda@lastchancepatriots.org.

Let’s all work together to get through this miserable election year and ring in 2025 with new government at both the Federal and State levels that will work to keep our Republic, not destroy it!

10 predictions for 2024: Get ready for tough times with war and economic collapse on the horizon ...

Expect civil unrest to break out in 2024 as globalist elites go for the final takedown of America as we know it in preparation for their satanic digital reset of the world order

The year 2023 will go down in history as the point at which the globalists completed the assembly of a massive secret army inside the U.S. in preparation for the final takedown of America, transforming it into Amerika.

By my calculations, there are anywhere from 1.5 million to 5 million foreign soldiers already inside the U.S. awaiting orders. My math is based on the government’s own statistics for illegals entering the U.S. over the last three years and then I estimated how many were military-age males using very conservative numbers on the low end and moderately conservative numbers on the top end. The most conservative number, 1.5 million, assumes that no foreign agents of military age were already here prior to January 2021, which of course we know cannot be the case but I wanted to demonstrate just how conservative these numbers are.

What's Wrong With the Republican Party?

I'm on the downhill side, heading for eighty. My Dad was a truck driver and Democrat until he became a truck owner and built a trucking business. He became a Republican. My wife's Dad worked his entire life in a kiln making sewer pipe and was a diehard Democrat. Up until the eighties, the distinction was clear. Not so anymore.

The Republican Party thought George Bush (the older) was the answer, and he was a globalist. We'll skip George Bush (the younger), who was our first puppet President. In 2008, they thought the right guy was John McCain when Republicans everywhere knew he wasn't.

In 2012, they were sure Mitt Romney was the man, and then we've seen what real conservatives knew all along: Mitt is a flaming liberal. In 2016, the Party was sure that Jeb Bush was the answer until real conservatives got behind the guy who really represents them, Donald Trump.

From the day Trump took office, Republicans in Congress smiled to his face and stabbed him in the back all the way to 2020. That's when they collectively threw the true representative of American conservatives under the bus. Here we are in 2024, and the Party is behind globalist Nikki Haley, as 'establishment' as they come, as the answer to our problems.

And the GOP isn't just out to lunch nationally; in Montana, things are the same or worse. The infighting among the Party faithful is legendary across Montana. The Party that thought Judy Martz was the answer still thinks Marc Racicot is a conservative. And the State GOP welcomes an unknown, Tim Sheehy, as the one to beat Jon Tester simply because Mitch McConnell chose him.

A wise man once said, "We cannot solve our current problems at the same level of thinking that got us here." The Republican establishment doesn't represent the people; they represent the status quo. Nationally or under the Big Sky, if you are a tried and true conservative patriot, you have no representation.

God help us ... because the GOP isn't going to.

Are You Kidding Me?

Did you know that as of January 1st, California has committed to providing free healthcare for700,000 illegal immigrants? In what universe would that be a good idea? Gavin Newsome’s universe!

In his universe it is not only acceptable to swing his state’s budget from a nearly $100 billion surplus in 2022 to a $68 billion deficit in 2024. The cost of free healthcare for illegals is expected to cost $2.6 billion annually! Newsome took California from the largest state surplus in American history to the largest deficit in American history in two years! Keep in mind that there are some lunatics in this country who think he might be a great replacement for Biden.

What took the Harvard Board of Governors so long to decide to cut President Gay loose? Her inability to answer a simple question without demonstrating her anti-Semitism wasn’t enough. Her failure to extinguish the pro-Hamas rhetoric on her campus wasn’t enough. The university’s loss of a billion dollars due to her anti-Semitism wasn’t enough. Calls for her resignation by Harvard students who value ethics and integrity wasn’t enough. Finally the disclosure of dozens and dozens of incidents of plagiarism seemed to push them over the edge.

In her resignation letter did she apologize for the harm she has done to Harvard? No, she decried the “personal attacks and racism” that she claims to have been subjected to! This is outrageous! She got the job because selecting her conveniently checked all the DEI boxes and the governors thought they could look suitably progressive. Her resume was thin and barely qualified her to be a professor, let alone President of what used to be a prestigious university. Good riddance! Oh wait, she will still hold a full professorship so she’s not really gone. Are you kidding me??

Here in Montana, the attempt to hold a special session of the State Legislature to consider reducing property taxes failed in December. And why did it fail? Because the Dems don’t really care about your property taxes and the lily-livered SUPER MAJORITY of Republicans don’t care either.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the SUPER MAJORITY is a myth! Republicans couldn’t coalesce around an important issue if their lives depended on it! We are burdened with liberal Republicans all over the state and the party just can’t seem to clean up the ranks. In Lake County we have Dan Solomon (R) who never met a tax he didn’t like, including property taxes. Could that be because he gets most of his support from the tribe, which seldom pays taxes? Why should he support lowering property taxes when many of his constituents don’t pay property taxes? Dan voted “No” on the special session. And he’s not the only one! The next time you hear Don K, the Chairman of the Montana Republican Pary, speak glowingly about the SUPER MAJORITY, just say, “Are you kidding me???”

How many more ridiculous examples of our current culture will it take before we say, “ENOUGH!” I’ve stopped paying attention to the number of times Biden has embarrassed himself and our country with his vacant stares, his incoherent mumbling, and inappropriate comments. And that stupid Christmas display at the White House was beyond laughable! I also try not to notice the incessant reports of rampant looting and destructive behavior in cities all over the nation. Have we been so successfully gaslighted that we are numb to the crumbling of our society and are beginning to believe that we, normal, hard-working, law-abiding Americans are the crazy ones?

Are you kidding me?

Everything You Need to Know About Martial Law

What is martial law? While there is no universal definition, the term often refers to the use of the military for law enforcement. But contrary to popular belief, simply calling up federal or state military members to assist during times of natural emergency or civil unrest is not necessarily the same thing as implementing martial law.

Looking at the history of laws surrounding the use of the military in law enforcement can also give some clues as to what American scholars and officials consider martial law today.

A Voice of Experience

Dear Friends,

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." - John Quincy Adams

When it comes to watching political party politics play out, being "on the outside looking in" can be helpful in judging the ruses among players in the game.

Experience within the Republican Party as a candidate and office holder, along with observation from "the outside" after resigning from the party, is impressing upon me a very strong cynicism about what has transpired and is transpiring in the effort to recruit and groom Tim Sheehy as the Republican candidate to defeat Jon Tester in the 2024 US Senate race.

Indeed, Mr. Tester needs to be retired. His disgustingly liberal/socialist voting record does not represent Montana, regardless of his specious claims to the contrary when election time comes around.  He clearly has no understanding or respect for an originalist understanding of the US Constitution, a necessary requisite for any claim of adherence to a conservative philosophy. But let's be honest. How many times have Republicans replaced a "liberal" Democrat statist with a "conservative" Republican statist, thinking they have won a great victory, only to discover that "losing as slowly as possible" is no victory at all?

I can understand that the laity within the Republican Party would have difficulty believing the party has its own "swamp." It does, and that Republican Establishment Swamp is as adversarial to your freedom as any Democrat in the Washington Swamp and Deep State.

Mr. Sheehy is the "hand picked" darling of the Republican establishment. That in itself is justifiable cause for suspicion. Any thinking conservative Republican understands that an endorsement by the likes of Mitch McDonnell should be a "red flag." Yes, Sheehy recruiter Daines has garnered other Washington endorsements for Sheehy, even some who would be considered "conservative," but we all know how that works.

In his position as Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman, Daines has officially made Mitch McConnell his boss, not the state of Montana. His job isn't to build a conservative Senate; it's to make it a Republican one that will do what McConnell wants. This is revealed by the choices his More Jobs; Less Government PAC is making right now, spending hundreds of thousands on selling Sheehy to Montanans rather than exposing Tester.

I am not so naive as to think this recruitment and grooming of Sheehy is not primarily an effort to preempt a run by Matt Rosendale for that Senate seat. Mr. Rosendale has proven himself a man of conviction who is willing to "rock the Republican establishment boat" to restore constitutional government.

I like that...regardless of party affiliation. He has a 100% Freedom Index voting record, which indicates his Congressional votes are consistent with the US Constitution according to original intent. He has proven worthy of my vote, and I would vote for him. I hope he runs in that Senate seat.

It could be argued that Mr. Sheehy, a political newcomer, is innocent of what transpires within Republican party politics. I could grant that possibility if his recruitment and grooming by the establishment were not so obvious. Whether Mr. Sheehy knowingly or ignorantly allows himself to be a pawn for the establishment doesn't matter. Either way indicates a tendency towards followership, not leadership, and his website contains nothing more than the generic pablum of typical Republican establishment talking points.

Lest you take my concern so lightly as to disregard it, please consider a lesson from history...right here in Montana. During my time in the Montana legislature as a Republican from 1995 to 2000, Marc Racicot and Bob Brown (the Whitefish Bob Brown, not the Trout Creek Senator Bob Brown), both statewide Republican officeholders (AG, Governor, Sec. of State, State Senator, Senate President), were the "Establishment Republicans" that we in the legislature were all expected to support..."party unity" and all that.

More than once, I was accused of "supporting the Democrats" if I did not "go along" with Mr. Racicot or Mr. Brown. "If you don't vote for the Republican candidate, you are voting for the Democrat" was a common refrain directed at me if I did not support the likes of these two in their campaigns for office. It did not matter that the standard for how I cast my legislative vote was "Is it Constitutional?" "Party unity" assumes that I disregard my oath of office to become a "team player." I have no use for such phony unity around nothing, which is why I formally left the party in 1999. Silly me, I thought we would be united around upholding the Constitution, as our oath required.

I am sure you know what Mr. Racicot and Mr. Brown have been doing in recent elections. ENDORSING DEMOCRATS. Publically and without apology. Even as a former Republican Governor AND Republican National Committee Chairman, Marc Racicot endorsed the outrageously "woke" and disgustingly ignorant Joe Biden for President in 2020.

Brown and Racicot endorsed Democrat Monica Tranel for the US Congress in 2022. One or both have endorsed other Democrats and liberal judges, including leftist Montana Supreme Court Justice Ingrid Gustafson, far-left Democrat Sec. of State candidate Bryce Bennett (who advocated lowering the voting age to 16, no less!), and a Democrat PSC candidate who opposed Annie Bukacek.

The lesson? I'll say it this way: "Unity for the sake of unity alone is to "unify" around nothing...or anything." Don't forfeit your conscience or principles for political parties or candidates. Republicans who do so will inevitably end up with Marc Racicot and Bob Brown leading their party...again. If you think the Republican establishment of today is different...well, convince me. Maybe the biggest ruse of all in party politics is that some "Republican" officeholders are not even Republicans.

Our President ... (in name only) 2023 in Review

Invasion Ignored

Our federal government is charged with defending our borders. Let's see how they're doing. How many illegals make an invasion? For starters, think of all the people who live under the Big Sky. Over a million people. That's a lot of people.

But you can't stop there. You must add the population of Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Delaware, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming. The total population of all of those states is over 11,500.000. And that, my friends, is the number of invaders living amongst us here in America.

Let that sink in. Since the fraudulent election of 2020 that installed our President in Name Only, which ushered in Barry Soetoro's third term ... 11,500,000 illegal, unvetted, primarily military-aged men have taken up residence, and the money to support them is coming right out of all our pockets.

The invasion taking place as we speak is unprecedented and unconstitutional. The UN organizes it, coopted by the cartels and financially and physically supported by the Red Cross, prominent churches, and NGOs. They are being flown in the dead of night to Red States by our own government. The illegals enter using an app provided by our State Department. The court dates now being scheduled are in 2031.

And what's worse is that the entire invasion was IGNORED by our elected representatives. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. This is an election year. The time is now to let Congress know what you think of the ignored invasion that is changing America forever.
