Nothing Is As It Seems?

Hello Linda,

The merry month of May was relatively subdued in terms of the craziness that is usually reported in The Last Chance Patriot! I fear we are becoming immune to many things that were once considered outrageous that now happen on a daily basis.

As our tolerance for chaos and instability increases, we begin to ignore dangers that may in fact be existential threats: increasing violence and lawlessness in our cities, failure of our government (at all levels) to perform its fundamental duties, justified decrease in trust by the general populace of many institutions (healthcare, law enforcement, education, the justice system, and the media, to name a few), and the assaults upon the agriculture industry worldwide. It won’t take missiles and bombs to destroy the United States: our country is on a path to implode by its own hand if we don’t get back on track.

This month’s theme is “Nothing is as it seems”. We challenge our readers to hold hard and fast to what you know to be true and not to fall prey to the efforts to numb your brain and challenge your beliefs. Believe your own eyes! If you see businesses are closing down due to crime and vandalism, call out the media that either doesn’t report the trend at all or blames it on “systemic racism” or “white flight” or some such nonsense. Common sense is a powerful tool: use it everyday as a defense against the current bombardment of misinformation, half-truths and outright lies. Employ your common sense when you are challenged to not merely “live and let live”, but to wholly embrace and become a proponent of a person’s desire to become something they are not. Let your common sense prevail!

Please let us know how we can make The Last Chance Patriot more valuable to you. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

We wish each and every Patriot a safe and fun summer!

Be ready, Patriots!

Most Americans still waiting for that white knight to swoop in and save us from our insane government. History teaches us that both major parties are good at one thing — advancing the interests of the globalist administrative state and its perpetual lust for war.

The date of November 5, 2024, is less than 18 months away and I dread it.

Why?

Because Americans waste a lot of energy every four years focusing on presidential elections, and many still hold the dream of there being one man out there who will swoop in and magically return us to that shining city on a hill. Mr. Fix It is waiting in the wings. This has become a four-year cycle of distraction. An exercise in theater. I have no time for it.

There are many reasons why one man or woman is incapable of turning America around but first among them is that our system was not designed to be ruined or fixed by a single person. Our federalist system ensures that states and cities have the power to do good or evil on their own, regardless of who resides in the White House. Will the election of a conservative president, for example, stop New York City from implementing its newly announced plan to track residents’ food purchases and place caps on meat served by public institutions?

We Live in the Land ... of Make Believe

In your wildest imagination, did you ever think things would be happening in our nation just three years ago like they are today? The pace of change has been dizzying, mind-numbing, and all too real. And the citizens of the greatest nation the earth has ever seen are going along to get along.

Consider these facts ...

  1. We have a resident in the White House, not a President. We all know he is not making his own decisions yet; Congress goes along, the average citizen goes along, and all the newscasters on TV go along ... pretending we have a President when we all know it's a lie.
  2. We have a judicial system, one of the three pillars of our Republic, that is corrupt from top to bottom. They have conducted Stalinesque show trials; they intimidate, lie, cheat, and steal to silence their political opponents. Yet, the media pretends nothing is wrong, our members of Congress pretend nothing is wrong, and citizens' lives are ruined daily.
  3. We have a justice department that, along with our intelligence branches, infiltrated and influenced a Coup d'état on January 6, 2020, and successfully blamed it on innocent American citizens. Our Vice President at the time and every member of Congress pretended it was an insurrection. The media was complicit, and hundreds of citizens were imprisoned for seditious conspiracy. By our defining silence, we're all pretending it just ain't so.
  4. We, as a nation, and the world, for that matter, suffered through a make-believe plandemic. We had a pretend crisis, a pretend vaccine, and martial law through lockdowns. We, citizens, pretended right along with them.
  5. We're pretending there is a climate crisis that threatens our very existence when we all know it is about control, not climate. Yet we pretend the promotors of the situation are crazy and pretend we'll have a military with electric tanks, trucks, and planes.
  6. We pretend boys are girls and girls are boys, and men can have babies. We pretend it's normal for people to choose their gender, which is in our land of make-believe. We pretend it's not child abuse to let a six-year-old have their privates surgically removed.

As we approach the 2024 election cycle, we're pretending everything is normal, and this time, by golly, we will right the ship and fix all of this stupidity. Nothing is as it seems. Normal is not coming back. We must stop pretending that someone or something is going to save us. It's look in the mirror time.

There is only one battle left: at the local level. If citizens don't take back the city council, the school boards, and county commissioners' offices ... it is all over.

What you see around you is not the land of make believers you think it is.

What you see is our new reality, and it's evil.

Digital Prison Update

When you talk with most people about the coming digital prison they offer you a hanky to polish your tin foil hat. They don't want to hear the globalists in their own words telling you what is coming in the near future. We will all pay the price for our ignorance.

Here are a few news items to think about ...

The Digital Prison is a reality. It has been pioneered and is being perfected in China. Click Here to hear the latest from Bigfork resident Aman Jabbi.

UPCOMING KALISPELL EVENT

The Elephant in the Room

(Part 4)

Last month I reported on the homeless crisis in three Montana cities: Missoula, Kalispell and Polson. I have a brief update on conditions in Kalispell.

First, it has been reported that homeless people have allegedly been assaulted by local teenagers in Kalispell. It is rumored that the assaults occurred as the result of dares or gang challenges. This is unacceptable! No human being deserves to be assaulted. Parents: do you know where your children are and what they are doing? This is wrong and incredibly dangerous. Talk to your kids!

Secondly, the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce has been forced to relocate due to unsafe conditions caused by the homeless population. The Chamber has outgrown its facility and was planning to relocate but leaving their current building became urgent. The Chamber had hired a security guard but that was not a sufficient solution. The staff has had to deal with human waste and needles as well as interactions with individuals that they are not trained to deal with safely. If Kalispell fails to step up and deal with the problem, it will continue to get worse and less safe for everyone.

I promised that this month I would talk about some potential solutions and I asked for recommendations from our readers. I received one email with suggestions. Interestingly, the reader who responded to my request for suggestions closely echoed my own ideas. Let’s put our heads together, come up with some suggestions and present them to our city/county leaders across the state of Montana. I’ll start…

The ceaseless defense of this population is that they are not all mentally ill or addicted so they are all deserving of a hand-up. I acknowledge that there are people who find themselves homeless unexpectedly and have no family or friends to help them and who may not be addicts or be mentally ill. But I also believe that the national homeless crisis is fueled by a lack of mental health facilities and by drug addiction. The percentage of homeless people who want to be helped, whether by employment, shelter/housing, addiction treatment, or mental health treatment should be easy to identify and funds should be directed accordingly.

Both the reader who responded and I believe that an important first step is to acknowledge that all “homeless” people are not the same and must be assisted according to their situation, their ability and willingness to accept help, and their ability to make better decisions for themselves. In order to take that first step, people who can effect change, whether elected officials or volunteers in the community, need to face reality and stop making excuses; they need to stop downplaying the problem and face it head-on. The first step might be to admit that some people are chronic law-breakers and must be dealt with accordingly. Then focus attention on helping those who need and want help.

Let’s first establish some broad categories to identify the types of individuals who may be homeless. There are those who suffer from a mental illness and could be helped by medications or other treatment and others who require hospitalization. It is widely acknowledged that a large portion of the homeless population in the United States suffer from addiction to drugs or alcohol and they would form a second category.

A third group would be individuals or families who experienced a financial disaster and find themselves on the street temporarily while they try to re-establish employment and housing. We must recognize that there always have been and always will be people who make a conscious choice to live without gainful employment and without housing.

These groups are by no means exhaustive and are merely examples of how we could begin to find ways to manage and help within our cities and counties. Furthermore, these four broad categories would of course have sub-categories for more specific identification of individual needs.

There is no question that more facilities to treat mental illness and addiction issues are sorely needed in the United States. The decommissioning of our publicly-funded mental hospitals back in the 1960’s and 70’s led directly to the tragic consequences that we are living with today. Furthermore, addiction is an epidemic that has far out-stripped our resources to deal with it.

As a national issue, the U.S. needs to spend more money taking care of its own citizens and significantly reduce the amount of our tax dollars that goes to “foreign aid.” Charity begins at home.

I again encourage any of our readers who care to make the effort to enter into this conversation. Please send me an email at linda@lastchancepatriots.org

Fight Under the Big Sky

The State of Montana is not immune from the wanton assault taking place on America. The assault on the Big Sky has only just begun.

Make sure you know what is really happening under the Big Sky. The rot in Missoula is creeping across the state.

Don’t Fall for the Lie.  Our Wells are Not Okay

Will My Well Be Protected?

Over the years, this is one of the questions that we heard most in public meetings from a wary, but uninformed citizenry. Most people wanted to know if their well or municipal water source was protected in the compact so they could move past their Flathead Compact related concerns and onto the business of living.

The Compact Commission knew this, and took great pains to mention at every opportunity that they were working diligently to ensure that “existing uses of water” would be protected.

We ask you to think about the Commission’s statement carefully.

Attention Residents of Montana, Lake County, Upper West Shore School District!

You will be receiving a mail ballot for a General Fund Levy for one year to cover Teacher Compensation and general operating expenses. There are currently 47 students enrolled at the Dayton School. That is a decrease in the student population, down from 80 a few years ago, and significant increases are not expected in the near future.

Nevertheless, the Dayton School Board determined that an increase in the number of staff positions was warranted, resulting in a budget shortfall. As noted above, the levy is for one year, and without changes to the budget or a notable increase in students, it is possible that another levy will be required for the next budget year. If taxpayers object to this possibility, you may speak directly to the School Board Members about the reconsideration of the need for additional staff. The School Board Members are Greg Simonson, Ron Tjaden, and Arnold Bjork. You may call the County Superintendent’s office for their contact information or to ask for their meeting schedule so you can attend.

Meanwhile, please vote YES on the General Fund Levy to rectify the shortfall for this year. Our students need your support.

There have been a few articles in local newspapers regarding the Dayton School and a fund-raising effort being conducted by a private 501(c)3 organization to raise $22 million for a new school, community center, and health center. Unfortunately, some misinformation about the current school is being disseminated that requires clarification.

  1. The Dayton School is fully ADA-compliant, not sub-par as reported.
  2. The land lease for the school with the CSKT expires in 2032 and is expected to be renewed at that time for another 25-year period to 2057. The land lease payment is $1.00 per year.
  3. The school does not have a hot lunch program, but that is not unusual for rural schools in Montana; the children do not go hungry but rather bring their own lunch to school.

If the citizens of the Upper West Shore School District think that this little levy to raise $61,000 is objectionable, try to imagine what the annual school taxes would be if the Polson School District must take over the district or what the school budget will require annually from the taxpayers to operate and maintain a $22 million facility for 50-70 children!

Your mail-in ballot must be postmarked by June 10th – don’t miss your chance to show your support for the Upper West Shore School District!

The Tester Chronicles

On May 28, Big Jon penned an OpEd published in the Ravalli Republic with the headline Jon Tester: Taking on China to defend our Montana Way of Life. In it, he elaborates on his defense of Montanan from those pesky balloons. He also proclaims how sinister the Chinese Communist Party can be. Comforting?

The question is, is our Senator Tester really interested in protecting Montana and America from communist China? Let's take a dive into the good Senators' stance on TikTok, the Chinese app that our legislature recently became the first state to ban its usage. Montanans should be proud of our Governor for signing the ban the legislature passed on TikTok. TikTok is an app being used to penetrate the culture of America, and anyone in the know knows that is true.

In March, Tester told the Washington Post he supported an outright ban of TikTok and the people that stood in the way of such a ban. Tester also told the Alaska Beacon that banning TikTok was a 'no brainer.' So Big Jon is standing with all of us Montanans. Right? Well ... as with everything Tester touches, stand back for the flip-flop.

After our Governor signed the legislation banning TikTok, the state was sued. Then Senator Tester told KGVO Radio in Missoula that "he’s “not really big on banning anything." Say What? Is he not big on banning TikTok? But I've saved the best for last. You can read it for yourselves.

Here is a headline for the article you must read. Here you go ... Tester Reverses Course, Suggests Montana Shouldn’t Have Banned ‘Silly’ TikTok App After Signaling Support. This article was published on May 27, one day before he wrote the article in the Ravalli Republic proclaiming his protection of Montanans from the Communist Chinese.

Share the many sides of Jon Tester broadly and widely. He is not our friend.
