Dear Riverbend:
Sharathon 2018 was a blast!  Our theme was "To Tell of Him (Jesus)." Our goal at the Cornerstone is to accomplish our mission of seeing people saved and disciples made. Due to the generosity of others, we will carry on with this mission this year, and, Lord willing, the years to come.
Thank you for allowing your talented chef, Gabriel Martinez, to prepare a meal for 15 staff and volunteers: meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, chicken casserole, green beans, ooey gooey cake.  It was a quintessential taste of home and a wonderful expression of Christian community. Everyone had plenty to enjoy, and all were happily filled. This provided energy for a long day at the studios and kept everyone encouraged.
Thanks also to those Riverbenders who helped us in the studios, especially answering phones. Your kindness has been outstanding.     --Riverbender Bill Powell, General Manager, Cornerstone Radio

Points to Ponder

If hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let no one go unwarned or unprayed for.  --Charles Spurgeon

When you pray, better to let your heart be without words than to utter words without a heart.   --John Bunyan

Gathered worship is our way of celebrating victory that the war is won, that our enemy is crushed and that our future is secure in our returning and conquering king.  --Burk Parsons
