Happy Wednesday!
So today, I needed a new filter for my water pitcher and I immediately went to my computer and typed in the shopping site that I always go to. Then I thought, I wonder if our new Aurora ACE Hardware carries this? Went to their website and sure enough, there is was! Went to the store, was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, found my filter at a better price AND I didn't have to wait for it to be delivered. How many times do we buy something online instead of taking the time to check out our local businesses? Let's try and shop and spend local!
We had a great evening shopping at Abigail's for our Spring Fling on Tuesday, May 24. Brooke Rosselot of Mazzulo's provided the apps and Desiree Graves, Independent Scout & Cellar Rep provided the wine. We collected bras and feminine hygiene products for I Support the Girls, a non-profit that collects and distributes the items to women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment or distress. Aurora ladies came through again!
