In addition to exploring leadership in general, specific emphasis is placed on community leadership. Program participants 'go behind the scenes' in Portage County to gain a deeper understanding of the community where they live and work. The ultimate goal is to create positive change in Portage County by stimulating increased interest in community involvement and building a network of informed committed and dynamic leaders.

The Portage County Safety Council FY21 Virtual Safety Council program meets on Zoom every 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month (except for the holidays), 11:00am-12:00pm.

At Family and Community Services Inc, we continue to monitor the development and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to continue to keep the community up-to-date on program updates and changes without overwhelming you with too much superfluous information. F&CS provides services such as food, shelter, transportation, and counseling services.
