We are starting out slowly- baby steps...Our annual events have been pushed back a month. The State of the Chamber is tentatively scheduled for February 16th and The State of the City for March 16. We might even get a Mardi Gras Bingo event in, but we will not make a final decision for a few weeks yet.

The office is currently open by appointment only. Please call if you need to come in.

Weekly E Blasts are back! Every Tuesday morning you can have your own personalized email sent out to all chamber members and their assigned reps. Interested? Give me a call!

The chamber is your business partner, here to help you save money by offering you cost saving benefits, advertise your business and events and if you have job openings, working with you to try and get them filled.

Here's a summary of their two test offerings:

The COVID-19 saliva-based PCR lab test can be self-collected at home or at the office and is then shipped to the lab for testing - results post in approximately 48 hours. These are PCR test kits and have been granted an emergency authorization by the FDA. The tests cost $125 per test and must be purchased in sets of 10.

The COVID-19 rapid tests are fully self-contained and provide results in 10-15 minutes. These do not need to be shipped to the lab. The cost is $40 per test and they're purchased in sets of 20. Shipping is $72 and they arrive in about 2-3 days.

CHAMBER EVENTS & NEWS

As you may be aware, natural gas costs are increasing throughout all utility regions in Ohio and the Chamber Energy Program has options for you. The graph shown below illustrates the latest natural gas utility supply rates (or Standard Choice Offer “SCO” rates). These are the rates you will pay if you are not under contract with a competitive retail supplier. If you are unsure if you are on the Standard Choice Offer, in a Government Aggregation Program, or under a supply contract and are concerned how you may be impacted by these rate increases, the Chamber Energy Program can review your bills and determine if a fixed price alternative is right for you.

Simply email a recent natural gas bill to chamberenergy@ceateam.com for a quote. We are here to help.
