“My bus is my second home. Here, I'm Ms. C for the kids, and they are my kids."

Transportation
“My bus is my second home. Here, I’m Ms. C for the kids, and they are my kids. I work with them to make sure they’re on the bus safely to and from school, and I build relationships with each of my students. We decorate the bus, we have fun, and we also know where we sit, what we do, how we stay safe. They know what to expect on the bus, and they also know what I expect of them. This is their safe space to be, and it’s very important to me that they feel loved here. And when I see their parents, I make sure they know if their child had a great day or what we need to work on. We’re all in this together.”
