CHS International Baccalaureate students read, connect with Boyd pre-kindergarten Primary Years Programme students
More than a dozen CHS students earned service learning hours while conducting mini lessons with preK students at Boyd.

Central High School students read to Boyd early childhood learners Pete the Cat, Where the Wild Things Are and The Rainbow Fish.

Then, Central students led Boyd preK students in activities that connected to the stories they shared, drawing cats with shoes, designing their own monster and creating a colorful fish masterpiece. Central students earned service learning hours, while Boyd early childhood students made new connections in their storytelling unit of inquiry.
More than 100 families made connections, learned new tools at SPS University
Breakout sessions, new tools, community resource fair and more -- that's SPS University.

More than 100 parents, students and community members attended the first SPS University Dec. 14.
