In continued celebration of our 40th Anniversary, we look back at the rebirth of the legendary Adelphi Hotel in the resort destination of Saratoga Springs, New York. The hotel reopened in 2018, reclaiming its stature as one of the city’s most important landmarks. Originally constructed in 1877, the historic hotel was frequented by many famous local figures, including John Morrissey, who is credited with bringing horse racing to one of the sport’s hallowed locations. This project would not have been possible without the state and federal historic tax credits.
