FACES OF SPS
"Teaching ELL during the summer allows me to take a break from my normal while still teaching."
Kimberly Janson
First-grade teacher
Wilder Elementary School
"During the regular school year, I teach first grade at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary. My day is spent with students who challenge me and make me laugh. I love learning from them and growing with them. Teaching ELL during the summer allows me to take a break from my normal while still teaching. Explore gives me the opportunity to meet and learn from great educators in our district, use my Master’s in ELL, and put a bit of money in the bank. It’s a win-win situation!"
Wellness Tip

COVID-19 vaccines are now available and free in Missouri for anyone 12 years old or older.
