FACES OF SPS
“I do not take it lightly that I am my students' first experience of school, and I want to make it the very best."
Ashlee Diers
Kindergarten Teacher
Pleasant View K-8 School
“I love that I get the chance to be with my kids for so many of their firsts. Whether it is teaching them to read their first book, introducing them to their best friends, or going on their first field trip, everything they experience in kindergarten is fun and exciting. I do not take the responsibility lightly that I am their first experience of school and I want to make it the very best. While being a teacher in any grade is rewarding, teaching kindergarten is just special. I have a classroom full of kiddos who love and admire me. They would do anything to make me happy and to know that I am proud of them. There is nothing better.”
