“I'm a Ms. Jane kid! She was my bus driver in middle school and I sat in the front seat every day, talking her ear off. So many great memories on her bus. Now, my daughter has the privilege of riding her bus every day! Thank you, Ms. Jane!"

FACES OF SPS
"Since education's ethical philosophy is to 'do what is best for kids,' education aligns with my calling."
Dr. Karyn Christy
Principal
Wilson's Creek Intermediate School
"Being a ‘mom’ is my calling in life. I didn’t realize it until I had my own children. I went into education because I love to support and nurture children and families. Since education’s ethical philosophy is to ‘do what is best for kids,’ education aligns with my calling. I find if I focus on keeping all students and staff “emotionally and physically safe,” these priorities will aid me in making appropriate decisions that are best for all. My desire is to support everyone equitably in our school community as we grow in both our character and our learning.”
