HEARD IN THE GARDEN
“The kids worked for maybe 20, 25 hours in class on this project. But they really enjoyed the project because they got to do every step of it. We built it at Glendale, walked down the hill and hung it at the school across the street. The guys, they’re kids helping kids, with something that will be here for a while. That’s pretty special.”

FACES OF SPS
“Being able to deliver my passion on a plate for someone, who can taste every bit of dedication and hard work that I put into every bite, is so rewarding."
Jessica Owens
Catering Manager
SPS Food Company
“My favorite part of my job is being able to share what I love, food, with so many versatile, appreciative people. It’s rewarding to know that what I did to make their meal possible, it all ends with a smile on their faces. My passion for all things food has been strong since I can remember, and being able to deliver my passion on a plate for someone, who can taste every bit of dedication and hard work that I put into every bite, is so rewarding. Plus, now I get to dedicate more time to my other passion, which is my family. In the food industry, long hours are standard, and the stress is constant. It’s not like that here. At SPS, I get to do what I love and spend more time with my family.”
