DRIVE Electric USA Grant Award

Principal Planner Sean Flaherty discussed an exciting update for the Triangle Clean Cities (TCC) program at TJCOG. Through a new 3-year DRIVE Electric grant, TCC will serve as the state lead for North Carolina.

In this role, TCC will lead the development of a project plan to address barriers to EV adoption and increase consumer knowledge of available EV options, and educate consumers, utilities, utility regulators, and government officials, engage auto dealers and fleet leaders, conduct EV infrastructure planning, and develop local EV chapters.

Go to 1:30:00 in the meeting recording to hear Sean's presentation.
