The Blue Ridge Health District (BRHD) is distributing the COVID-19 vaccine in our region. This week, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is now being supplied to our region - good news, because this means an increased supply of vaccine. Please read the latest BRHD newsletter for an update on the vaccination effort. Vaccination is underway for Phase 1A and 1B individuals.

Vaccinate.Virginia.Gov is the statewide portal to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine. All Virginia residents and workers are eligible to pre-register on this site. Once your name is on the list, you will be contacted when it is your turn to schedule your vaccination.

If you previously signed up using a form from the Blue Ridge Health District, your information was migrated to this system. Check to be sure you're on the list.

Remember, vaccination is only one tool to end the pandemic. We need to use them all in order to return to normal day-to-day activities. Protect yourself and others by continuing to wear your mask, keeping your distance from others, and avoiding gatherings.
