Welcome to the First Ever Bardstown Nelson County Chamber of Commerce Virtual 5K & Destination Fun Run!
Grab your Family, Co-workers, Friends, or Social Distance buddy to complete this fun run, collect points, support local business and compete for prizes!
How this works:
Step 1
Register for Virtual Run Online or call 502-348-9545 ext 3
$25 Adult
$10 Kids
$60 Family -2 adults and 3 kids
Step 2
Pick up Run Package including:T-shirt, Chamber Directory, and
Instruction Sheet
Step 3
Given several weeks in July to complete all tasks and turn in Instruction Sheet to Chamber by July 31st
Directions:
Please return the Completed attached form to the Chamber by July 31st at 2pm to be considered for the Top Prize of $250 in Chamber Gift Checks and $250 designated to a Chamber Member Non-Profit Organization and for additional prizes!
Most Points Wins!
Kids under 13 will be put in a drawing for prizes!
Teens age 13-17 can either enter the Kids Challenge or Adult Challenge!
Destinations Milestones:
- First Milestone- Complete a 5K (That is 3.107 miles , okay 3 miles is close enough )
- Take a Selfie
- Date of Completion
- Post on Social Media

Earn Points until July 31st by Visiting Chamber Members
- 10 points for purchasing from or utilizing a service from any local Chamber Member (Here is a list below of ideas, but all Chamber members count! If you utilized or purchased a service or item from a business in our membership directory count it for 10 points!)
- Local Chamber Member Restaurant- 10 pts
- Historic Attraction- 10 pts
- Distillery Tour- 10 pts
- Local Chamber Member Retail-10 pts
- Visit a non-profit Facebook or Google listing and give them a 5 Star Review for 10 pts.
To receive points: Keep track of when you visit a Chamber member, get initials from business, Post on Facebook/ tag the business and use the hashtag #bnccfunrun
Bonus Points:
- Joining or being a member of a gym- 25 points- Initials from Gym on Instruction Sheet
- Play Golf- 25 points- Initials/ log date and time
- Donate to a non profit- 1 point for every dollar- Initials from Charity
- Get a massage or spa treatment- 25 points- Initials/ log date and time
- Visit a Hair Salon- 25 points- Take a Selfie/ log date and time
- Schedule a Photo Shoot- 25 points- Initials from Photographer
- Schedule a business or house cleaning- 25 points- Initials from service provider
- Open up a checking or savings account- 25 points- initials from service provider
Kids 1 miler Milestones:
- 1 Mile- 20 pts
- Visit a Chamber Member Restaurant-10 pts
- Visit a Historic Attraction-10 pts
After completion, please submit a form to the Chamber of Commerce to be entered in a drawing for Prizes
