Youth Leadership Jefferson County!

Nineteen students from JCHS, TJA and Homeschool joined forces during the first session of Youth Leadership Jefferson County! Students toured the Bartow Museum and Cotton Gin and received a Community Playhouse overview in Bartow. Once in Wadley, the students enjoyed lunch at Family & Friends. Then they heard an economic development overview of the County, learned about Battle Lumber Company and Mayor Moore gave a motivational talk and overview of Wadley.

Students ended the day with a round-table discussion and brainstormed about their community service project scheduled for the spring.
