Wrapping Up a Remarkable Year at Disability Independence Group

As we close out 2024, we reflect with immense pride on the strides we’ve made together. This year, our Supper Social Club thrived as a hub for connection and joy, from lively discussions to our unforgettable karaoke night. These gatherings strengthened our community and reminded us of the importance of inclusion, belonging, and celebration. At the same time, our Wallet Card Project continued to grow, empowering thousands of individuals with disabilities and training law enforcement officers to ensure safer, more effective interactions. These initiatives embody our mission to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

Through our monthly newsletter, we’ve cherished the opportunity to share stories, insights, and resources with you, our dedicated readers. Each article, whether highlighting personal journeys, community milestones, or valuable tips, is crafted with the goal of informing and inspiring. Your engagement fuels our passion to keep delivering content that sparks conversations and fosters understanding. Thank you for being part of this journey—we’ve loved connecting with you.

As we prepare to welcome 2025, we are filled with excitement for the opportunities ahead. We remain committed to advocating for inclusion, empowering individuals, and building stronger, more accessible communities. Together, we can continue the great work we started and expand our impact in new and transformative ways.

We can’t do it without your support. As you reflect on the spirit of giving this holiday season, we invite you to consider making a donation to Disability Independence Group. Your generosity helps sustain our programs, such as the Supper Social Club and Wallet Card Project, and allows us to create meaningful change in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Visit our website to contribute today.

From all of us at Disability Independence Group, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year filled with love, peace, and possibility. Here’s to continuing this journey together in 2025!
