From the Leadership

I am pleased with the way our teachers and students are responding to this year’s school theme: “I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness” (John 12:46). We are encouraging our children to choose the Light! Of course, Jesus is the Light of the World, and he continues to illuminate our school family.

Living in the light of Christ means abiding by Catholic values. We are highlighting these particular values in our classrooms: listening, service, truth, friendship, love, holiness, sacrifice, trust, and mercy. Please pray that the Holy Spirit empower us to live according to these values throughout this academic year.

We invite you to pray our school prayer with us this year.

2022-23 School Prayer

Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for the Light of Faith. Shed light upon our steps so that we can walk in holiness, truth, and love as brothers and sisters in our school family.

Lord Jesus, you are the light of the World. Help us to listen to you, to trust in one another, and to sacrifice for the good of our community.

Holy Spirit, you illuminate our lives with the fire of your love. Make All Saints Academy a place of friendship, service, and mercy, where both teachers and students share Christ’s light with the world. Amen.

“For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.” – Romans, 12:4-5

We Want YOU!

For over 50 years, children educated in the Christ the King community have benefitted from a parochial education that is rich in Catholic identity, celebrates diversity and provides academic excellence. And, while the name of the physical school may have changed since its inception, the incredible community of faith the school embodies has not and, therefore, will always be considered home.

In an effort to reunite the many graduating classes from CK School and All Saints Academy, we are seeking volunteers to serve as official alumni Class Connectors. Class Connectors will help with our efforts to reconnect and communicate with our many decades of graduates all of the great things happening within the walls at 2835 E. Livingston Avenue; they’ll help rekindle fond memories of formative years here; and they’ll serve as ambassadors for our annual homecoming gathering each spring.

Have you kept up with some of your fellow alumni since graduation? Did you reconnect with old friends via social media in recent years? If so, you have the skills to be a successful Class Connector! To get involved, please reach out to Alma Vera at 614.237.0401 or [email protected] with your name, contact information and graduation year. We plan to host an initial, virtual gathering in early November with those who are interested in assisting.  We look forward to working with you!
