From our Executive Director...

How are we heading into winter already? It is so hard to believe. If you have driven by our Hamden office on State Highway 10 you have seen the construction team hard at work on our new addition. This week the frame for the walls started to go up. It is really starting to look like a new building. Thank you, again, for your generous contributions to our new addition as well as your continued support of all of the amazing services and programs we provide to the community. It is not lost on me that we could not do any of what we do without the support of all of you.

As you head into this holiday season, please hug your family a little tighter and enjoy the time you have together. There are so many hard things happening all around us and we are constantly reminded how quickly things can change. Remember, Delaware Opportunities is always here to help in whatever way we can!

If you are able, please consider contributing to help us administer Delaware County's Toys for Tots program again. Each year more and more children are in need and we need everyone's help to continue to serve all those who sign-up!

DISTRIBUTION SEASON

COMES TO AN END...

DO would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped with this year's distribution season, and thank you to all our attendees who were flexible when it came to the construction out front of our building. While there are no more food distributions for the year, we understand there is still a need for food within our communities. Please see the picture below for a list of local food pantries, and as always, contact us at Delaware Opportunities

if you are in need of assistance.
