'Professor Dan' Headed to Guatemala

Riverbender Dan Wishnietsky will be making his annual "professor" trip to Guatemala during July 16-24. He is scheduled again to teach the week-long course, The Hebrew Culture in the Time of Christ, at The Christian College of Ministry near Chiquimulilla, Guatemala (about 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean).

Dan has been going to Guatemala for 15 years and teaching this class for 10 years.

He will also be working with the Guatemalans who are attending or have graduated from the seminary in Honduras, as well as speaking at some churches and helping with youth activities.

Please keep Dan & his Guatemalan ministry in your prayers before and throughout his trip.

Update From Honduras

Riverbend Missions Director David Dorner and fellow member Dave Brown will be returning this Wednesday (July 15) from their eight-day missions "scouting" adventure in Honduras. They have been working with Pastor Hernan Sierra in Tegucigalpa, working on plans for a Riverbend missions team to visit in a few months to help with ministry in the capital city. They are also hopeful today or tomorrow of visiting with Pastor Melvin Romero a couple of hours away (in Siguatepeque) to make similar plans.
