Jennifer Thoman, Director of Alpha Women's Center in Palm Coast, will speak to the ladies of Sarah's Circle at their annual church-wide baby shower for Alpha. It happens on Tuesday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall

All Riverbend ladies are invited to bring shower items such as diapers, wipes, baby clothes, etc. Men may also drop off items.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Please come and learn more about what Alpha, which Riverbends supports, has been doing actively in the community and how you may be more involved.

Youth Enjoy Scavenger Hunt

Three groups of approximately 30, made up of 8th-12th grade youth and several leaders, ventured through Disney Springs and resort areas for a large-scale scavenger hunt last weekend. Each group sought to find objects given to them in photos, and accomplish a fun list of challenges. One of the groups is pictured here. Photo provided by Eliza Johnsen

Dorners in Nepal

Completing Second Week

Riverbenders David & Susan Dorner, and missions friend Gloria Rose from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, are finishing their two-week mission trip in the Asian nation of Nepal. They are completing work in a second village, where David preached and also was able to teach more than 30 men, while Susan engaged 20-plus women with the gospel and Gloria taught 12 children.

Prayer Petition From the Dorners

• That all we do in our remaining time here will bring glory to God and His name will be honored.
• That all we have ministered to will be blessed by God's Word & strengthened to live for the Lord.
• That what the people have learned will be shared with others ... and that the Gospel will go forth among the Nepali.
• For safe travel & stamina for our return trip to Florida (we are due back on Thursday, April 23).

'Baby Dedication' Orientation —

• Reminder: All parents planning to have their babies dedicated on Mother's Day (May 10) are required to attend a brief Orientation on Wednesday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room.
