What a great time to share the festive Christmas season with a fellow Riverbender—perhaps one (or more) you should get to know better.

Invite folks to your home for dinner. You can share testimonies and pray together, even play games.

All regular Wednesday events will be cancelled on Dec. 17.

More than 200 Riverbenders and guests enjoyed a time of festive worship and fellowship at the church's Christmas Family Night last Friday.

Pastor Josh Brown and the Riverbend Praise Team led in a unique presentation of the prophecy and fulfillment regarding the birth of Christ.

It all culminated with a special indoor-outdoor pizza-salad-soup-dessert fellowship.

Thanks to Hospitality Directors John & Cindy Carswell and their team for handling all the logistics.

If you will not be present, here are two ways to insure that your tithe-offering qualifies for 2025 tax purposes:

Mail offering to the church office, postmarked no later than Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Give online thru the "Church Center" app or church website no later than 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Homeschoolers Visit Homebound

Riverbend Homeschool Co-op children and youth recently visited several of the church's homebound members, providing holiday cheer. They presented Christmas cards and treats and also sang Christmas carols for the homebound. "It was a great time," said Ministry Leader Rachel Mergener, who provided these two of several photos.

Hi, Marie: The person who received the basket I delivered cried and told me they had no money. She said her husband had an affair and left, and she didn't get paid until that Monday and didn't know what she and the kids were even going to do to eat. She cried and said it was such a blessing.
