Yesterday (Sunday, April 13), the first day of Passover, about 80 people celebrated an abbreviated Passover during the Bible Fellowship Group hour. Jewish historian and Riverbender Dan Wishnietsky led the event in Fellowship Hall.

The highlight was experiencing, through the symbolism of the Jewish Passover, how the bread and wine of communion illustrate that Jesus is the God man, that He died and raised from the dead to redeem us by the shedding of His blood.

Riverbend Academy's

'Legacy Gala'

Annually the Academy's largest fund-raiser, the 2025 Legacy Gala last Saturday gave parents, supporters, church members and friends an update on the multiple successes of the school, as well as a time to honor the Class of '25. It also gave opportunities to express support through the dinner and the live and silent auctions.

Thanks to Academy Marketing & Development Director Teresa Villorente and her team for another successful Academy venture.

By the Grace of God, I will travel to Egypt this week to celebrate Easter with my home church family. (Hoor Church was started many years ago by Samir's family.) I am invited to preach there on Easter Sunday. God guided me to a message on "The Empty Tomb and the Victorious Risen Christ." Please pray that the message and the time spent with our brothers and sisters there will be a blessing for them and for me. Thanks, Samir

Camp Living Water is a week for 6th-12th grade students to be amidst God's creation in Bible-teaching, worship, discipleship, fellowship and fun to the glory of Christ.

Registration ($495 full camp fee) is now under way.

Scholarships: Perhaps you can donate a scholarship, or partial scholarship, to send a student to camp.
