Confirmation and
Youth Group Schedule
We finally have a schedule for our Confirmation and Youth Group Meetings for the year! All our meetings will take place on Sundays after Worship from 11:30am-1:30pm. A light lunch will be served each week. We will alternate between having confirmation and youth group. No meetings will be held whenever there is a school break that falls on a Friday or Monday.
I want to extend an invitation to all youth at Hennepin to attend confirmation. Youth who have already been confirmed can join us as jr. mentors. I know that many of our youth at Hennepin were in confirmation during the pandemic and might feel as though they missed out on certain aspects of confirmation, and by joining us as jr. mentors, they will have the opportunity to participate in our field trips, service projects, and the in-person learning experience. They will also have the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills as they interact with both our current confirmands and our adult mentors in the group. It is important to me to consider how I can best support your students as we will continue to re-enter life after the pandemic. I think that fostering a strong sense of community among our youth is one way I can do this.
October 9th will be our first Youth Group meeting!
October 23rd will be our first Confirmation meeting!
