Goings On Week 3

As we move through the third week of the Fall Quarter the holiday season is getting closer and closer.  Halloween is just around the corner.  Time for a haunted house, maybe in the bamboo garden. Don't be scared, we at the Honors Institute are excited to share the goings on. 

HTCC Honors Transfer Fair This Friday! Register Now!


On this Friday the Honors Transfer Council of California is offering their yearly Transfer Fair! Check out their agenda – and come! Directors, counselors, honors course faculty, and honors students: resources for all!

It looks like all the action for students will be between 12-2 with the college reps but there is other great info.  You need to register to gain access to live sessions on Friday and posted materials all year long (Links are not available on the above preview agenda)

LatinX heritage month kicks of this week with the Undocumented Student Action Week. Check here for all events.

The Honors Connection Club began the year with a successful trivia night pizza party on last Thursday. Almost 50 people showed up and finished the pizza quickly.  Congratulations on a great first meeting.Contact Alekos for more information at kapuralekos@gmail.com. 


This quarter the English department and the Library have teamed up for the Foothill Community Reading Program-- https://foothill.edu/english/crp.html.  This quarter we’re reading Maus by Art Spiegelman and the library has bought copies for the library to let students borrow it.
