Winter Registration Reminders As you all know, winter registration is in full swing. If you have not yet done so, please be sure to check in with your academic and/or honors counselor to ensure you are taking the courses you need to follow through with your education plan. A week at-a-glance view is available for winter honors courses. We have courses meeting once a week, online only, and in traditional form. Check out our winter course offerings and their course descriptions.

Transfer Center Drop-in Hours Counselors will be available for "quick questions" in the Transfer Center all day through November 27th. APPLICATIONS AND MORE INFORMATION

Winter Honors Courses Highlights: If you're looking for an honors literature course in the winter quarter, look no further! English 45B Honors: Survey of American Literature 1865-the Present is an online course to offer flexibility for your winter schedule and there are still open seats in the class. Check it out!

Have you talked with your Honors Counselor yet? Start the academic year off with a meeting with an Honors Counselor to ensure you are on track for transfer and following your educational plan. Community Campus Involvement and Participation Opportunities: Foothill College Student Town Hall Panel If you're interested in sharing your ideas about what Foothill College students need, come to the Student Town Hall discussion tomorrow, November 19, in the Hearthside Lounge from 2-4pm. Listen to presentations from student leaders working on issues such as student homelessness, financial aid, athletics, and mental health. Food and refreshments will be served.

Native American Heritage Month Events- Lecture Series O n Thursday Nov 21 at 9-11 am,  FH Grad Daisy Rosalez  will tell the story of her personal journey from Foothill to the Air Force to Indigenous Youth Leader for the annual international Bioneers Conference.  Daisy will speak in the Hearthside Rm 2313 from 9-9:50 a.m. and again 10:00-11:00 a.m. F ollowing Daisy's presentations, FH Honors Connection Club (which Daisy co-founded!) will present their quarterly student  OwlTalks . This quarter's topic: Sustainability! Join us in the Hearthside Rm from 11:30 - 12:30.  Next, Mark Moulton, a community climate leader from the nationwide/international  24-Hours of Reality: Truth In Action  movement will speak on the climate crisis from 12:30-1:30. This event mirrors similar actions in 1000s of schools and college campuses worldwide Nov 20-21. Community Campus Involvement Opportunities

We recognize that many honors students are currently involved with various campus activities or groups that may offer opportunities for service leadership experiences or contributions to the Foothill College community. If you are interested in recruiting students for your clubs, campus events, and/or other leadership opportunities that are available to your fellow students on campus, please send us information so we can feature your particular organization or event in our newsletter.
