Celebrate your hard work this year!
Well, we know finals are coming up next week, but still- this has been quite the year for so many reasons and here you are at the end of the spring quarter, finishing up! We wish you the best on your finals next week, but we also want to congratulate our graduates, students who are transferring, and every one of you who took an honors class this year. Whether this academic year was or was not your best work, please be sure to recognize the hard work you have put forth this quarter- not just academically, but also personally, socially, and civically in order to adapt to the reality of the pandemic this past year. Many of you have persevered despite tremendous uncertainty and loss. You have taken on additional responsibilities at home, added hours to your work schedule to make up for loss of income in the home, and a lot of you have been doing the important work of caring for siblings and family while everyone adjusts to this new way of life.
We look forward to continuing our work with those students who are still plugging away and making progress towards their educational goals at Foothill College. If you would like to reach out to us during the summer, you can find us during office hours every Wednesday from 12:30-1:30, from July 7 until the 21st. We will be responding to emails through the 21st as well. Additionally, you can meet with any of our honors counselors who will be available throughout the summer so please do not hesitate to reach out.
