You Made It!
The Honors Institute congratulates our graduates, students who are transferring, and every one of you who took an honors class this year, and especially this past quarter! Whether this quarter was or was not your best work, please be sure to recognize the hard work you have put forth this quarter- not just academically, but also personally, socially, and civically in order to adapt to the reality of Shelter In Place during the pandemic. Many of you have taken on additional responsibilities at home, added hours to your work schedule to make up for loss of income in the home, and a lot of you have been doing the important work of caring for siblings and family while everyone adjusts to this new way of life.
We look forward to continuing our work with those students who are still plugging away and making progress towards their educational goals at Foothill College. If you would like to reach out to us during the summer, you can find us during office hours M-Th from 1:30-2:30 until July 23. We will also be responding to emails regularly until that time. However, after July 23, we will be checking email and voicemail only sporadically. But please don't hesitate to reach out.
We wish all of you the best for a strong finish on your finals, and the best of luck to all who are transferring. Please remember to come back and let us know how you're progressing on your educational path!
