KNEWSLETTER - Vol. 54
Greetings!
Well lookie here, it's almost September. Fall is considered, by some, to be the best season for boating on the San Francisco Bay. We hope you're able to take advantage of it! While you're out enjoying the stellar weather, why not start putting together your boatyard project list for your winter or spring trip to the yard. KKMI has the most square footage of indoor space for your wintertime projects. We are standing by ready to help get your vessel into tip-top shape! We look forward to seeing you on the water or at your next trip to the yard.

DAVE'S DISCOVERIES
Gadgets and gear for your boat
Purchasing Manager Dave Kendig’s highlights the interesting products he comes across. Dave is also happy to answer any product-oriented questions you may have. Got a Yanmar diesel engine and looking for parts? Give Dave a call. Not only does KKMI have an extensive inventory on hand, but most importantly, Dave will make sure you get the part you need. You see, not all part numbers stay the same, and Dave is our resident guru when it comes to such matters.
Product Replacement
Heads up! 3M 5200 has been discontinued for use in California. But not to despair! KKMI has a year supply still on our shelves and Petitt Paint has a replacement product that is equally as good.

LAST KNEWSLETTER CHALLENGE & WINNER
While gathering our monthly "Between the Sheets" boat names, we have come across some boat names that we had to do a little research to get to their origin or meaning. In the spirit of that endeavor, what does the name of this boat mean? No cheating! Don't look it up on google and have some fun with it!
Complete the sentence...
WINNER!
This brought a big smile to our faces! Thanks to Geli Burgin for answering correctly and for including a fun little blast from the past as her answer. Enjoy, Dummies!
The owner of the boat translates this name into "Knucklehead" but we were pleased to take "Dummy" as an answer.

CONGRATULATIONS TO GELI BURGIN
