Local Dancing Stars Shine Bright on Small Business Stage
October is "Small Business Month" in Canada. It's a time to recognize and acknowledge the contributions small business owners make to communities across the country.
"Small Business Month underscores the importance of ensuring that we continue to support our entrepreneurs and evolve a continued culture of entrepreneurship in the Windsor Essex region," states Sabrina DeMarco, Executive Director, Small Business Centre, a department of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation. Virtual reality allows developers to see projects in 3D before they're built
3DFX is the brainchild of Michael Hoppe and Chris Jedlinski. It's a virtual reality tool that can create three-dimensional architectural renderings that investors, developers and designers can take tours of and actually interact with.
"We ended up getting into video gameplay modes where you can move and even run through the condo," said Hoppe. "But now we have the next step, which uses the Oculus and it's just a completely different experience."
"We want people to be entertained and fully immersed in what their new life could be," he added.
