The United States (US) Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Brownfields Program is accepting Brownfield grant proposals, through the www.grants.gov website until November 22, 2022.
FY 2023 Multipurpose Grant
- Up to $800,000 per award
- Up to 5-year Project Period
- Current recipients must demonstrate that payment has been received from the EPA and drawn down funds have been disbursed for at least 70% of each Multipurpose cooperative agreement with the EPA by October 1, 2022
FY 2023 Community-Wide Assessment Grant
- Up to $500,000 per award
- Up to 4-year Project Period
- Current recipients must demonstrate that payment has been received from the EPA and drawn down funds have been disbursed for at least 70% of each Multipurpose cooperative agreement with the EPA by October 1, 2022
FY 2023 Assessment Coalition Grant
- Up to $1M
- Up to 4-year Project Period
- One lead eligible entity with two to four eligible entities who do not have the capacity to apply for and manage their own EPA cooperative Agreement
- Lead entity must be a state, county government, Indian tribe
- Current recipients must demonstrate that payment has been received from the EPA and drawn down funds have been disbursed for at least 70% of each Multipurpose cooperative agreement with the EPA by October 1, 2022
FY 2023 Cleanup Grant
- Three Tiers
- Up to $500k
- $500K - $1M
- $1M - $2M
- Up to 4-year Project Period
- Brownfield sites where Brownfields Cleanup Grant funds were previously expended may not receive additional Cleanup Grant funding
