USE IT OR LOSE IT !!!!!!

Dental & Flex Benefit offers you can't afford to miss!
We hope you had a wonderful summer!

As we approach the end of the year, we are writing to share a tip that can help you take full advantage of any dental insurance or flex benefits you may have.

The way your dental insurance or flex benefits work is that you have a certain dollar amount of benefits each year. If you do not use those benefits you lose them! (Unused benefits do not carry over to the next year). Many people do not realize this and let hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars worth of benefits go back into the insurance company's bank account. While treatment is never dictated by insurance, if you have any treatment that remains to be completed, or you have any dental concerns at all, it would be very useful for you to come in before the end of the year.

Our goal with every one of our patients is to help you enjoy great oral health. That means that you look good, you feel good, you have strong teeth and gums, and you enjoy the benefits of a healthy, attractive smile for a lifetime. If you would like to make an appointment, just give us a call and we will find a time that is convenient for you. Just remember that when the clock strikes 12 midnight on December 31st, you will lose any unused dental benefits. We are happy to help you get the full benefits that you are entitled to under your dental benefits policy.

Here's to helping you achieve excellent dental health!
 Best regards,
 Dr. Aparna Menrai

Dental issues can be exacerbated by stress, and others – such as tooth grinding – can be attributed to stress alone. As a result, we’ve seen an increase in the number of patients that we are seeing due to stress-related dental issues, including:

  1. Tooth pain and jaw pain from tooth grinding
  2. Chipped teeth and broken fillings
  3. Crowns that become loose or come off
  4. A sudden increase in cavities
  5. Tooth infections

While we cannot control the external stresses that are prevalent in the world today, staying on top of your routine dental visits, taking care of recommended treatment, and proper stress management techniques will go a long way in improving your dental health. If you’re experiencing any of the above dental issues, contact our dentist office today to set up an appointment.

Using an oral device for sleep apnea opens airway obstruction. Even after a full night’s sleep, an individual can still feel tired and this pattern may also contribute to other more serious medical issues. In addition, it has been discovered that many patients who snore benefit from a dental device for sleep apnea.
