October Installation Dinner

Beautiful fall weather contributed to a great evening of fun, comradery and networking as we conducted the annual installation of our chapter officers at Stone Tower Winery on Oct. 28th. Katherine Shiplett, CPM, performed the officer installations and served as master of ceremonies for our costume contest. We were also proud to welcome four new ARM members from Legend Management:

This virtual game show is a fun and interactive version of the long running game show favorite, Family Feud. But since this is our December meeting, we are doing it with a twist—all points earned will be converted to dollars and donated to charity! Registrants can choose to sign up with no fee, or register with a donation amount, which will go to fund the overall donations. Teams will be formed randomly, with 5-10 people on each team. All instructions will be given at the top of the event but there is no need to prepare—just sign up for some fun with your fellow chapter members and industry partners and help the local community during the holiday season! Region 3 Education in 2021

The Region 3 Education Committee will be rolling out a very robust series of virtual seminars for the first half of the year, with hopes of transitioning to in-person offerings in the third and fourth quarters. Watch for a series of topics such as Uncovering Bias and Leading for Diversity; Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced Excel; Residential Leasing & Customer Service; Commercial Leasing & Customer Service, among many others. A full calendar will be available in mid-December.

IREM credentialing courses will be offered virtually and online throughout 2021 and we hope to offer the ASM track and Capstone tracks in-person locally in the summer and fall. Check out irem.org for all virtual class dates.

Dues are due!

Earlier this week you should have received your annual dues renewal notice from IREM. Although this has been a very challenging year, we hope we have continued to provide value to you in the form of virtual education and events. Our plan for 2021 is to begin regular in-person programming starting in April, with monthly networking events through the end of the year, as conditions permit.

You have the opportunity to prepay for your meetings this year at a reduced rate of $390. This will cover all chapter events, whether virtual or in-person, and offers a value equal to one free admission to the Mega Meeting in October (an $85 value). Prepayment for our chapter meetings can be rolled into IREM’s new payment plan option for dues if desired. Please go here to pay your dues online or to download and print a dues invoice.

Virtual 5K Run/Walk for the IREM Foundation

Join your IREM peers in participating in IREM’s first ever 5K event! Register here with your $25 fee and record your fun or walk any time from Nov. 20-29th. All proceeds benefit the IREM Foundation! All registered participants will be entered to win a $200 Fleet Feet gift card to stock up on running gear, accessories, or athleisure for winter lounging.

IREM Industry Forecast -

2021!

The annual forecast event will be held virtually on January 28^th at 2 pm. The Forecast Committee is pleased to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun. Watch for all the details and registration opportunities in the coming weeks.
