New York Times Article Highlights Developments in Long Beach
The recently published New Times article highlights the incredible growth that Long Beach is experiencing as a result of over three dozen development projects, valued at around $3.5 billion. The City has been able to attract new businesses through improvements to infrastructure, new zoning regulations, a streamlined plan review process and increased police presence. As a result of these efforts, many developers have been eager to do business in Long Beach, and companies like Virgin Orbit and Mercedes-Benz have found new homes here. “We’ve got the welcome mat out,” Mayor Garcia said. “We’re constantly meeting with folks, hosting forums for development interest.” Read full article here.
