In-Person Church Services Starting May 31

Today Premier Higgs and Jennifer Russel, Chief NB Medical Officer of Health, announced that churches could begin to gather next weekend. I know some are disappointed but as a staff team, we are thrilled that we have an extra week to prepare. Already our team has prepared a COVID-19 Operational Plan (see next article below for highlights), which has been endorsed by the Board of Management and the Board of Deacons. We anticipate further guidance to be released by next Friday, so watch for next week's newsletter for details.

Pastor Jason will be speaking next Sunday at 9:30 and 11 AM. Please note that there will be no Facebook Live devotional or online Missional Community next week. In the meantime, here are some things you need to know:

  • Two service times: 9:30 AM and 11 AM
  • Children's ministry will be in the 9:30 AM Sunday service only.
  • Face masks are strongly encouraged, but not required. We will have a limited supply on hand for those who need them, at a cost of $10 for regular attenders. First time guests will be provided masks free of charge upon request.
  • If you are not feeling well, we encourage you to stay home and watch the service online.
  • If you would like to volunteer as a Greeter or host, please let Pastor Jason know.
  • Doors will not be open until 15 minutes prior to service time.

We can hardly wait to welcome you home!

Church Meeting

We have postponed the May 25th church business meeting to Monday evening, June 1 at 7 PM at the church. More information to follow next week.

Vision Day - Saturday, June 13 from 9 AM - 2 PM

The Vision Day scheduled for March has been rescheduled to June 13. We encourage you to plan on participating as we gather together to hear God speak to and through his church about the plans he has for us. Lunch will be served. A $10/person registration fee will be charged to offset the cost of lunch.
New Sunday Schedule Online
On Sundays you can join us in YouTube Premiere AND a Facebook Live at 9 AM on Sunday mornings. Of course, our online services will be available any time after the Premiere and Live event. Our team will be monitoring Facebook Live, so we can engage in chat with you throughout the online event.

Online Giving
New Videos Available to Help With Setup

COVID-19 has affected every area of our life, including our giving. Prior to the restrictions on meeting, many of you had already embraced some form of online giving: e-transfer, automatic withdrawals and Tithe.ly being the most popular.
Here is how you can give online using Tithe.ly

Tithe.ly is an online giving portal that allows one-time or recurring gifts to be made to MBC. To learn more about Tithe.ly, click here to watch a short video that explains how Tithe.ly works. Want help installing the app on your phone or tablet? Click here for this short how-to video.
Debit, Visa, Mastercard & Amex
Here is how you can give online using Interac e-Transfer

Many are already using Interac e-Transfer to give their tithes and offerings. This method allows a direct transfer of funds from your bank account to that of MBC. If you are already giving online, thank-you. If you would like to learn more about Interac e-Transfer, click here to watch a short but helpful video.
