ANNOUNCEMENTS!

New Team Member at MMSC

Missouri Main Street Connection is excited to welcome Joshua Shinn as the newest Community Development Coordinator on our Field Services team.

Joshua joins us from the University of Missouri Extension, where he served as an Engagment/Community Development Specialist overseeing community needs assessments, program development and implementation, grant writing, data analysis, and program evaluation. That experience will be a great asset as he works to build and strengthen Main Street programs across the state.

"I’m most excited about bringing my background in education, curriculum development, and community development into the trainings, workshops, and resources we create at MMSC. I love taking complex ideas and turning them into meaningful, practical learning experiences that people can take home and put to work. I’m equally excited to get to know Missouri in a new way, especially communities in parts of the state I haven’t had the opportunity to explore. I want to understand not only what each community needs, but also its people, stories, character, and aspirations." - Joshua Shinn
