Accepting Speaker Proposals for the 2025 Missouri's Premier Downtown Revitalization Conference!

Missouri Main Street Connection (MMSC) is now accepting speaker proposals for Missouri’s Premier Downtown Revitalization Conference 2025. We are calling for sessions ranging from 45 to 75 minutes for new and established downtown revitalization programs. This year's theme, "Get Your Kicks on Main Street," will enlighten attendees on the power of a good story for cultivating community pride, attracting visitors, and preserving local heritage. Main Street is positioned perfectly to catch the attention of locals and visitors with inspiring stories, picturesque places, and fun experiences bringing the community together to live, work, invest, and play; boosting the local economy.

We encourage submissions highlighting the importance of collecting and sharing district stories, empowering volunteers to implement experiences that foster community connections infused with history and character, and featuring the unique qualities of a district as a great place to live, work, invest, and play. Your proposal can reflect any of the four points of the Main Street Approach: Design, Organization, Promotion, and Economic Vitality. We strive to provide content at all learning levels including newer to advanced communities and share perspectives and success stories from urban districts to small towns and rural Main Streets.

Sessions at the conference are scheduled for Wednesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 24. The schedule is determined by balancing topics and target audiences. Please make sure you are available on these dates before submitting.

NOTE: If you have an idea but don’t want to organize an entire session, please fill out this form and submit your idea. MMSC may combine your presentation with others to create a session.
