This past Sunday, we gave out Bibles to third-grade students. This symbolic event begins their journey towards Biblical literacy and responsible interpretation of our Holy Bible. These students will also be joined by their parents for a "Reading my Bible" class in Sunday School happening throughout the next month.

From July 19–28, 2027, a group from PHUMC will travel to Mwanza, Tanzania for a Service and Learning Trip rooted in partnership with Wesley College, a United Methodist school. We will learn about the school's mission and meet with students. And we'll spend time understanding the ways that education in health, business, communications, and theology is helping transform the church and the nation.
If you’re interested in participating in this exciting opportunity, join us for an informational Zoom meeting on Tuesday, September 8th at 6:00PM! Contact Rev. Katye Chambers at kchambers@phumc.com for the link.
