We have special PHUMC Christmas ornaments available for purchase for $20. Ornaments may be purchased this week at the Welcome Desk during office hours and on Sunday mornings from 8:30am-12:00pm. Quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We invite you to a Meet-and-Greet Welcome Reception for our new pastor, Rev. Katie Pearce, on Sunday, January 4, from 10:10–10:50 a.m. in the Argue Great Hall. Walking the Mourner’s Path is an in-person grief group for anyone who has suffered a significant loss and would like to process it in a group setting. Our next group will be led by Rev. Belinda Price, Pam Hunter, and Lesa Booker. Through the 8-week program on Sundays, 3:00-5:00pm, January 4-February 22, mourners learn ways to honor their loved ones, seek spiritual direction, and discover God’s promise of comfort in community.

DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group that will help you heal from the hurt. It’s a warm, caring environment led by people who understand what you are going through to learn practical steps to deal with the challenges of divorce. Mount Eagle Retreat Center is currently accepting registrations for an upcoming Grief Retreat, taking place January 9–10, 2026. This meaningful retreat is designed to support and equip those in helping professions, as well as anyone who is personally processing grief or walking alongside others who are.

The retreat will be led by Greg Adams, Director of the Center for Good Mourning at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, whose compassionate and insightful leadership makes this an especially impactful experience. Sessions will run from Friday evening through Saturday evening, with participants invited to stay an additional night on Saturday at no extra cost. The cost is $140, which includes lodging and four meals, and each participant will have a private room.
