Our PHLittles Ministry is looking for a few caring volunteers to help us create a welcoming, supportive environment for our youngest members and their families.
We are seeking friendly faces to serve as Nursery Greeters on Sunday mornings—welcoming families at the nursery Welcome Desk and helping direct parents and children. This is a simple but meaningful way to make families feel at home.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with our Family Nurture Team, which supports families by sending grief notes, baby bibs, and baptism notes—small gestures that make a big difference.
Questions? Contact Kristie Finney. Thank you for helping us love and care for our PHLittles and their families.

Last week, our Food Pantry gave out over 600 bags of food!
Thanks to the creativity and compassion of our volunteers, families also received birthday cake kits—complete and ready to help make someone’s birthday a little more special. We are especially grateful to Andrea Edwards, whose generosity made 120 birthday cake kits possible!
We also want to celebrate a sweet group of girls who spent the last day of Winter Break baking with love—32 loaves of homemade banana bread—so that every Food Pantry family at Wednesday’s distribution could enjoy a special treat. Their efforts were added to the incredible, ongoing gift of 110 loaves baked and frozen throughout the year by Bev Villines.
Together, these acts of kindness remind us that the Food Pantry offers more than food—it offers dignity, celebration, and community. Thank you to everyone who helps make this ministry such a blessing to our neighbors.

Our January Monthly Mission collection will be bags of dry beans for the PHUMC Food Pantry. You can drop off the beans at the Welcome Desk or the Donation Station outside of Entrance 9.
If you have any questions, contact Rev. Katye Chambers at kchambers@phumc.com.
If you'd like to see all of our 2026 Monthly Mission Collection items, go to phumc.com/missions.
Reminder: Please check expiration dates of all food items before donating to our food pantry. Thank you!
| | | | | This past Sunday during Mission Hour, volunteers packed 300 care bags to share with our neighbors living on the street—simple, tangible reminders that they are seen, valued, and loved. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and heart to serve our community! | | | |
