It's that time of year: time to get ready for our Trunk or Treat! Join us on October 27 from 3-5pm in the Lower Parking Deck.

We are currently looking for Sunday School classes, small groups, and individuals to open their trunks and volunteer! Go to phumc.com/trunk-or-treat to sign up to host a trunk! Volunteer to be a greeter by clicking here.

Our Family Ministries team is looking for candy for our annual Trunk-or-Treat! We need individually-wrapped candy to give out. You can donate candy at the Donation Station outside of Entrance 9 or bring it to the Welcome Desk inside of Entrance 1. Prefer to give money for candy? Just go to phumc.com/candy!

Senior high (8th-12th) students! Join us for Re:New weekend. Join us all 3 days or pick the events that work for you! Friday is worship, small groups, and dinner. Saturday is an early morning hike and waffles in the park. Sunday is dinner and a silent disco. Its FREE. Bring friends, no sign up necessary. Come be together, and bring folks that need a place to rest and renew their connection with faith and church.

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infancy Loss Remembrance Day. We know that a great many people are affected by the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss, and that the grief from this is complex and isolating. On October 15th, our chapel will be open from 6am-6pm for those that want to come pray. We will have a votive station where individuals can light a candle for their child(ren) as well as a prayer card with guided prayers and resources. We hope all will be in prayer for those grieving this day.

Our friends at Mount Eagle Retreat Center are hosting a Spiritual Practice Retreat October 21st-23rd. This will include utilizing their prayer labyrinth.

If you desire to learn more about spiritual practices or find new ways to deepen your walk with the Lord, we hope you’ll sign up for the Spiritual Practices Retreat! It’s $140 for a shared room and $180 for a private room. Email them at info@mounteagle.org for more information!

Children in Kindergarten-4th grade, join us for Children's Music & Arts Hour, Sundays beginning October 6th from 4-5pm.

Children will sing, make crafts, and learn about dramatic speaking as they explore elements of worship and prepare for this year’s Hanging of the Greens service on Sunday, December 1st.

Join Table for One Singles Small Group (35-70) at the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra's Home for the Holidays on Friday, December 20th! We'll celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with great music and Christmas carols.

When we look at our Sadiqi children, we get a real picture of how quickly time passes. Our little girl, Aruzu, turned two on September 9. She is an adorable little dynamo and rules it all over her three brothers.

After a summer of fun activities and some classes, the school year has begun and education remains one of the most important endeavors for this family. Hussain is in his first year at Horace Mann Middle School. It was a huge adjustment for him, but he has handled it beautifully and we are so proud of him. He is being tutored privately every week. The generous giving from our church members are helping to pay for this....

Exciting things are happening at the Food Pantry! In September we gave out 205 bags of food for for over 500 people. We have also begun to provide "kitchen staples" including various proteins, seasonings, butter, and eggs, in addition to our regular food items. Donations to the food pantry are needed and always accepted. You can bring food to the church outside of Entrance 9 (Lee Avenue) Mondays through Fridays from 7:30AM-7:30PM or bring it Sunday during worship. Monetary donations are accepted as well. Make sure you put PHUMC Food Pantry in the item line. You can give online at phumc.com/give!
