We had such a wonderful time blessing our students, teachers, and educational administrators on Sunday. We gave them each a blessing in worship, a keychain to remember that they are loved, and had a fun photo booth!

Please join us this Sunday, August 17th at 5:00pm in Wesley Hall for a powerful screening of "Addiction," a PBS NOVA documentary that takes an unflinching look at the science of substance use and recovery. Following the film, stay for a Q&A with Dr. Michael Mancino from UAMS and a Narcan training session. This event is being held in cooperation with the UAMS Center for Addiction Services and Treatment. Pulaski Heights UMC will hold a series of important Church and Charge Conferences in the coming weeks:
* Called Church Conference – Sunday, August 17 at 10:00AM in the Sanctuary. All PHUMC members are invited to attend this called Church Conference. During this meeting, church leadership will outline the specific work being proposed for the church building and seek the congregation’s permission to borrow funds if necessary.
* Charge Conference for Administrative Board – Monday, August 25 at 5:30PM - The Administrative Board to officially vote on moving forward with the capital campaign.
* Annual Charge Conference – Sunday, October 5 at Noon - The Administrative Board will convene again to submit required reports to the Central District and the Arkansas Conference.

It's time to start Children's Choir again with our new Children's Choir Director, Karen Clark!
Whether your child loves to sing, move, act, or create — this program is designed to nurture their gifts and help them grow in faith and friendship. All children Kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to join us for a fun and faith-filled choir experience! We have exciting plans for the school year, including singing for World Communion Sunday and our traditional Hanging of the Greens Service, as well as a Spring Musical! Rehearsals will be on Sundays from 4:00-5:00pm beginning August 17th. Meet inside Entrance 1.

Wednesday Nights at Pulaski Heights will return on Wednesday, August 20th! We start serving meals for $10/adult at 5:00PM. We have classes and programming for all ages beginning at 6:00PM including Dr. Robbins' Bible Study, a book study on Richard Rohr's Falling Upward, Let's Talk Enneagram, Children's activities, Youth Bible study, Midyouth, and more!

It’s that time of year! The Razorbacks are playing Arkansas State at War Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 6th! PHUMC will open our parking lot for the game. You can reserve a spot today for $40. We will also be selling parking spots on the day of the game for $25! All proceeds will go to PHUMC Youth Missions.

Walking the Mourner’s Path is an in-person grief group for anyone who has suffered a significant loss and would like to process it in a group setting. It is Christ-centered, scripturally and spiritually based. Through the 8-week program on Mondays, September 15-November 3 from 6:00-8:00pm, mourners learn ways to honor their loved ones, seek spiritual direction, and discover God’s promise of comfort in community!

We offer Sunday School for all ages on Sundays from 10:10-10:50AM.
- Children (4th grade and under)
- Infant/Toddler and Preschool childcare is offered throughout the morning.

Preschool classes meet on the bottom floor of the Norma Story Building.

Kindergarten through 4th grade meet on the top floor of the Norma Story Building.

Youth (5th-12th) - Meet in the youth lounge on the 3rd floor above Wesley Hall.
