AWSA Introduces Personal Best Stickers
Now within the My Stats feature of AWSA's mobile app, when a member achieves a personal best within the last 12 months, a yellow Personal Best banner appears. Clicking on the banner creates an email requesting one of these new Personal Best stickers, which we hope people will collect and display proudly as a symbol of their recent achievements. Up and coming skiers may collect several of them, and who knows, they might become coveted like the reward or pride decals on the back of high school and college football helmets. Skiers and officials can earn a handle for a number of achievements, such as winning Nationals, being a chief official at a major event, or other significant accomplishments.
The Personal Best feature picks up scores back as far as 2009. It considers all scores for an event, regardless of division, speed, line length or ramp height. As the name implies, it determines your maximum event performance.
The new feature is available to members who use the AWSA app and their regular membership login to authenticate themselves in the App. This opens access to the My Stats feature, which allows you to follow your own rankings and scores, or follow other members by adding them to your watch list drop down, using only their First and Last Name, or MemberID.
The app may be used on your phone using the following link:
https://www.usawaterski.org/rankings/mainmenu_m.asp. For your convenience, instructions automatically explain how to save the AWSA app icon to your phone's home screen for quick access. Computer users can just bookmark the browser.

The American Water Ski Association and BallofSpray
are proud to announce The Water Ski Ambassador Program.
The purpose is to connect people who are curious about skiing (but not currently involved) with skiers who are currently involved and passionate about the sport. Anyone with passion for water skiing and access to a ski site and boat. Ambassadors are asked to simply introduce new skiers to the sport. When possible, Ambassadors will take new skiers out to a ski site and show them what opportunities are available. Zero Off Announces New Software for 3-Event Water Skiing
Zero Off and the three-event towboat manufacturers will release the new Revision S (Rev S) software operating system beginning with 2019 model year boats. Rev S will enhance the existing SLALOM PLUS mode for skiers who want a more responsive pull.
After 18 months of testing and validation, the new Rev S will:
* Retain the current slalom settings (A, B, C, 1, 2, 3) and features skiers have come to appreciate with Rev R; and
* Enhance the existing SLALOM PLUS setting with a firmer more responsive pull when "+" is used.
Skiers who like a bit more acceleration out of the turn will find that the Rev S SLALOM PLUS setting improves acceleration through the wakes, resulting in an earlier and freer feel into the next buoy. Skiers of all abilities and sizes will find that Revision S allows them to optimize their skiing and break new personal records.
Rev S will be available starting July 2, 2018.
