WMAR 2 News visited North Oaks for our Centenarian Celebration on October 29 and spoke with several of our residents who were honored at the special event. Matthew is a highly accomplished clarinetist and student at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. In this class, we’ll explore the science behind why certain melodies evoke specific emotions and how music can be used as a powerful tool for cognitive health and relaxation.

Our community came alive with the spirit of fall festivity on Halloween. Residents enjoyed a special game of Halloween bingo, and staff strolled through the halls in creative costumes.
