Bell County Museum ~ A Sense of Place

The exhibit features painting and lithographs by Fort Worth-based fine artist Billy Hassell. His colorful and expressive art works, frequently featuring birds and indigenous plants and animals, have been exhibited nationwide and are included in the permanent collections of many elite Texas museums. The exhibit is on display until September 13th. Admission to the museum is free. We are open Tue-Fri 12-5pm and Sat 10am-5pm.

Classics for Caring is more than a car show—it’s a community tradition with a powerful purpose. Held annually in Temple, Texas, this event brings together classic car enthusiasts, local families, and businesses to support a cause that touches every heart: Hospice House. With every shiny fender and polished hood, we raise vital funds for this incredible organization that ensures individuals can live their final days with dignity, peace, and compassion.

Hosted by Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, Classics for Caring is a celebration of legacy, love, and local pride. Whether you're showcasing a timeless ride or just coming to enjoy the view, you’re helping make a difference in the lives of families facing life’s most tender moments.

Because here in Temple, caring is classic.
