The Governor's Small Business Summit — Belton aims to help veteran and other Texas small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs reach new heights by connecting them with the resources and information needed to start, strengthen and grow a business. This event offers a variety of sessions bringing together local, state and federal resource partners to provide key insights on critical business topics. It's also an opportunity to network with other business owners and meet experts who will share timely, relevant and actionable advice on a multitude of small business subjects.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) is honored to welcome Doug McMillon, president and CEO of Walmart, as the featured speaker for the 2025 McLane Lecture on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. in the arena of the Frank & Sue Mayborn Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m.

The inaugural Touch Root Water Walk will take place November 8, 2025 will start and end at The Landing at Nolan Creek and walk the Belton Hike & Bike Trail. This family-friendly 4K walk (with a special 1-mile kids’ option) raises awareness of the distance many people around the world walk daily to fetch water. We walk in solidarity with our global neighbors in rural Nigeria. Participants will also have the opportunity to carry the popular yellow jerry can used in many regions to fetch water.

Asleep at the Wheel ~ Cultural Activities Center

Founded in 1970, Asleep at the Wheel has been part of the American roots music landscape for more than 50 years. Although the band got its start on a farm in Paw Paw, West Virginia, Asleep at the Wheel became a cornerstone of the Austin, Texas scene upon its arrival in 1973. Inspired by Western swing and honky-tonk country, the band has accrued 10 GRAMMY®®® Awards and tours nationally and internationally.

They will be on the CAC stage, November 8, 2025

Every Thursday at 3 PM, we set the table for connection, conversation, and a good cup of tea. Whether you’re coming solo, with a friend, or just curious to try tea & find communiTEA, this is your chance to join the club.

Kick for a cause! We're collecting gently used youth soccer cleats to give them a second life. Donate your old cleats and help a child in need, or score a pair for just $5. All proceeds go to our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

Railway Express Diner...Now Open for Breakfast


For now our breakfast hours are 7am till 1145am Tuesday through Saturday!

Sunday we are planning on having Breakfast all day 7am till 3pm so everyone can get their brunch fix!


The Bell County Business Group meets every Friday morning from 8:15-9:30 at Dead Fish Grill, in Belton, TX.
